David's natural comedy timing really helped with some of the later episodes of Friends.
I even think he's showing his best acting in this episode !!!
This was one of the funniest episodes in the series despite being a part of a pointless plotline.

They were all great actors for sure, but in case there were any doubts, this episode completly proves that David is the best by a mile. His interpretation of Ross in this episode is just hilarious. The hardest I've ever laughed watching the show.
Lisa and david are very underrated on this show. I don't think any of the others could have played phoebe and ross better
ikr lisa has the best characters and portrays them excellently from bojack, romy and michele’s, space force, web therapy, that netflix show where she’s the mom, etc and david is by far the past comedic character in both line delivery and behavioral comedy. they’re both the funniest but matthew is the best at delivering and getting ‘there’ to the punchline

Maybe it is because of the great chemestry between David and Jennifer. They said their love and adoration for each other was put into Ross and Rachel. So, I guess he made a brilliant interpretation because he felt for real that the love of his life would have her own life without him.

I personally find it impossible to pick a favorite FRIENDS actor 'cause I ❤ all 6 principals so much. However, this is definitely one of Dave's many stand out moments. 😄
The name of the actor is David Schwimmer. And he is not underrated at all. Why do people keep saying that? His character, Ross, is actually the favourite of many.

This is my Top Second of David's. My VERY FAVORITE of his is when they're at his NaNa's Funeral, and he falls in a Hole meant for a Casket and has to take a couple of his mom's Pills for the Pain. He is HYSTERICAL!!!!

when the series ended back in 2004 there was a quiz of “which friend are you gonna miss the least” and i always tought ross because as a character i didnt like him that much, but as an actor he had some of the funniest moments in the show

The only ones that dislike him are hypocrites and liars who don't even remember the storylines, an online circlejerk of mostly the youngest fans who are offended by every joke, and blame all on Ross when he didnt do anything wrose than others. Yes he's dating Charlie but I believe that he doesn't actually love her, he sees Charlie as a friend rather than anything long-term. What he's also upset about is that Joey is his best friend (as is Rachel) and it was only recently that Joey had reassured Ross that nothing was going to happen between him and Rachel.

So Rachel isn't fine with Ross dating her sister but then went on to date Ross' best friend.
This seems to be one of the unnecessary things in the show.

What did Ross expect? Even if Rachel never met the guy at the bar or kissed Gavin, Ross told Phoebe and Joey that he had no plans to pursue her anymore to avoid another toxic breakup, he spent several episodes drooling over Charlie and kissed her before telling Joey. I'm not a fan of the Joey and Rachel pairing but they didn't owe Ross any explanation after all this.
Joey and Rachel never felt right.

Yes, I'm so glad that Ross and Rachel back together in the end. What annoys me about the whole Joey and Rachel thing is that early in season 9 Rachel had said she wasn't interested in Joey and Joey had told Ross that he should be with Rachel. All of them are best friends so why on earth would Rachel especially want to jeapordise the close bond she has with Ross. I'm glad it ended when it did and don't forget Joey had criticised Chandler for getting in the way of Janices family getting back together yet here he was trying to do the same with Ross and Rachel and their daughter Emma.

@@muhammadmufly23 Ross and Rachel are a fictional couple that shouldn't teach women that if a man swears to love you and he became toxic getting in the way of your work (and you being independent for the first time in your life) so you ask him for some time/space, it's okay to sleep with a stranger hours after you talk with him about how he was a jealous creep without any reason (almost getting her office on fire and getting her fired by yelling to her boss) Before that incident they were the cutest couple ever, after that it became a toxic relationship that only worked because the writers wanted that way, as simple as that.

They ran for 10 seasons with like 24 episodes in each season. It's understandable why they would make it a storyline. They did a great job considering how many episodes they wrote. Most shows NEVER even last that long
