@@hannahlilywilliams Is Jackson adopted? Haha. He honestly doesn’t look like Matt or you. ;) My brother is similar to Jackson in that way too though - it happens. My bro doesn’t look like my folks with his dark eyes and skin (my dad has hazel eyes and mom has blue eyes, and dad is fair skinned and mom is very light olive toned skin), and my brother and I don’t look related (but there are subtle traits that we know he is definitely my full blooded sibling and the son of my parents, like we both have a slightly droopy left eyelid, and we both have my dad’s hairline and tallness etc). I am personally light skinned and have my mom’s blue eyes. My brother inherited a throwback from my mom’s grandmother’s side of the family, as my great-grandma had some siblings with darker coloring like my brother has. You have a lovely fam! :)
I love how well Matt did. He vlogged and seemed so confident in front of the camera. Him and the boys did a great job making meals this week with you in mind, making what you would like. Super sweet! Well done 👏
Matt did a really good job. I liked the coconut dish. For breaking coconuts, the 3 eyes are the softest. You can poke a knife in and break the shell from there. You have to feel for the eyes with your fingers, it's usually the peak part.
Highlights of the Video 1: Jackson saying "oh!" as if he didn't know he finished his food when Hannah pointed out that he finished all his soup 2. Henry grabbing the french omelette after Hannah a sample bite a if he isn't a growing boy lol 3. Wyatt cracking the egg not that greatly but pointing out his strengths by saying "no shells!!" 4. All the boys and Matt looking thoroughly stumped when hannah asked for the omelette Sweetest little family
Wyatt saying “no shells!” is arguably the best part of the whole video 🤣😭 your series is my favorite comfort show, please don’t ever stop making these ❤️
The fact that Matt tried to make things out of his comfort zone is huge. I hope he keeps trying new things because the more he tries the better he will be and then be super proud of what he can do. Great job guys!!! I am the only one who cooks in my house but to be honest, I am VERY picky and like my food cooked a certain way and don't like many things. So I can't complain about it. I like it when people help with prepping some things once in a while, but other than that, get out of my kitchen. That close-up of Hannah and Henry together just showed just how much he looks like his Mama. So cute!
5:00 Reminds me so much of my mom's parenting. Both of us got everything together. It didn't matter if one one of us wanted or needed it, we both got it. We both got gifts on each other's birthdays. No one feels left out
Wyatt reminds me a lot of myself as a child and it always makes me really happy to see Hannah adjust to what he needs, instead of telling him to get over it .
Honestly, that was the sweetest video ever. The love your boys have for you is so palpable. They did a wonderful job.... but wouldn’t want to clean up after them 😂
My heart went out to Matt when he tried making eggs benedict, the hollandaise sauce is so hard!! He did such a great job cooking though! That vegan ceviche looked amazing.

This video warmed my heart so much, it's so nice to see the boys getting together and cooking for the family. They were so creative! If my husband had to cook for a week he would complain the whole time and wait for me to tell him what to cook. Lol.
theres a neat method for poaching eggs, brush oil onto a METAL ladle, have a pot of boiling wather. crack an egg into your oiled lade, lower the ladle up to the waterline- do not let the water cover it! hold it in place until you see the edges cook, then lower the ladle all the way in.leave in the boiling water until desired cooking time is reached.
Thank you for making so many videos recently. I love foodies. They know all the best recipes, restaurants, and culinary secrets. 🥰 Your videos have such fun ideas and I think can inspire a lot of families to really enjoy and participate and be playful/adventurous in something they do every day: eat. P.S. That treasure plate is awesome.
It just goes to show that letting go of the control of what and how you eat can be a mixed bag emotionally. Well done Jackson, Wyatt, and Matt for such creative and yummy menu items.
Thanks for sharing your family with the internet! I bet it can be tricky sorting through the “criticisms” about your family dynamic, but in this video you said it perfectly! You do to cooking, he does the cleaning! And that’s that
Matt and the boys are so sweet and thoughtful. The meals looked delicious. Henry is so funny, especially when he grabbed the whole omelet! Happy belated Mother's Day; you are a terrific Mom!
I laughed so much watching this. They did a great job and hopefully had lots of fun. Wyatt's look of total concentration was great to see, I hope he wants to learn to cook more and more things :)
This is amazing! Matt did such a good job with the hollandaise! It's the hardest mother sauce to make by far. A hollandaise is egg yolk, melted butter, and lemon juice mostly. It's hard to get the emulsion, and he did so good! It's hard to get right on the first try.
The boys did a really good job! My brother is more adept at cooking because when we were younger he would be in the kitchen with my mom whenever she was cooking and I was reading, but if my dad ever tried to cook something new or as complicated as Eggs Benedict, it would be a straight disaster. He doesn’t even use the stovetop for the most part in the house. A+ effort and A+ for execution!
I just adore Henry. He's at that age I love. They are just constantly learning new things and get so excited when they do. Right now I'm dealing with a boy who's 10 going on 18 (or so he thinks).
watching her eating seviche and saying she usually doesn't eat it because of the shrimp and me knowing that she's allergic is so funny to me because she's basically my replacement mom now

I was prepared to watch Matt burn half the kitchen down so this was really fun to see and that he did a really good job. I hope in the future he continues to try new recipes off camera. Love the videos can't wait for the next one
Use a hand blender and add (pretty much boiling) butter slowly to eggs while blending- so much easier for beginners making hollandaise sauce and so much quicker. If you TH-cam “easy hollandaise sauce” there are some great videos 😁.
Hats off boys! Those meals looked amazing! If my dad and brother did this for my mom it would not be nearly as successful. She might actually end up in the hospital for food poisoning so 10/10 Hannah is blessed. Lol.
