Several years ago, I stumbled across a video of Mr. Uslan playing his delectable rendition of Fur Elise at one of the Old Time piano contests in 2012. I was utterly mesmerised by this remarkable piece of music, and Mr. Uslan kindly sent me the sheet music via email, and was a most charming and witty correspondent to boot! Since then, it has been an unending joy to play (and still sometimes struggle with) Fur Elise a la Ethan Uslan. I cannot describe my delight just now to see this video of Mr. Uslan performing in my native land. What a pleasure for us to be graced with his exquisite talent and fabulous music. Thank you so much Ethan!
There aren’t enough word’s to describe how Sensational you are. I love everything you play. I agree totally with Miguele’s description of the Master you are -plus. I’m now 82yrs.old and being’s I don’t go many places anymore ,chances of my ever seeing you in person are slim. These video’s are wonderful. ♥️🎼🎶♥️Please don’t stop making them. I love every single second of Ethan's performance. The very first song, Maple Leaf rag, is one of my all time favorite interpretations of this piece. I have tried to incorporate a few riffs into my version and I love it so much! Is there a sheet available? I am still unable to replicate this partial-swing-feel. It is swung, but not all the way swung - how? Anyways, I've bought the Fur Elise sheet and that's next! Thank you Ethan for making such amazing music and sharing it with the word! Cheers!
