Well done, Kate. I really enjoyed this movie in spite of the content. It was very sad at times but I think that I was lucky to have had background knowledge. PTSD was not a thing in those days. I’m old enough to remember a lot of veterans who would go to the bar and drink and not really talk about the war but mostly how it would have been different if they were the general in command. Bullshit,for sure, but their way of dealing with the war experience. Obviously many things were rationed but apparently not cigarettes. 😅 Thank you for your work.
