NEW 2018 Hyundai Kona Review - Sub-Compact SUV

The Sub-Compact CUV segment is going gangbusters. Hyundai's latest entry, the Kona is ready to take on the competitors like the Honda HR-V, Toyota CH-R, Mazda CX-3, Ford Ecosport, Jeep Renegade, Subaru Crosstrek, Chevrolet Trax and the Nissan Kicks. With a new super structure chassis, lots of technology and competitive pricing, Hyundai is hoping to cash in on the fastest growing segment in Canada.

Best in this class. Bought my Kona Limited 5 days ago and I'm really happy I did. Tested the rest in class vehicles and this blows them away in performance, features, style and price!!! This is a mean little SUV in all respects.

Greetings from NorCal. I had it down to a Subaru Crosstrek and the Kona. I liked the Crosstrek and it had more clearance but I could do a faster 0-60 running in Frankenstein boots. So I bought a 2018 Kona Limited turbo with AWD on Labor Day markdown. I'll take 0-60 in 6.5 sec over the Crosstrek any day.
