- 京都府宇治市に位置する三室戸寺のつつじ園を訪ねました。一面に広がるツツジは色鮮やかな壁のようで迫力満点でした。
Mimurotoji is a temple located in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. Since its foundation, it has earned the respect of royalty and aristocrats. The current main hall was built in 1805. Also known as a temple of flowers, azaleas in May, hydrangea in June, lotus in July, etc. continue to bloom. There is also a stone monument associated with the Ukifune of Uji Jujo in The Tale of Genji. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน

桜も良いですが、ツツジも色鮮やかで素晴らしいですね。このお寺は他にも紫陽花や蓮、モミジなどでも有名なんだとか。移りゆく季節を花で楽しめる素敵な花のお寺ですね^^
個人的には2:24～の池と赤もみじを挟んでバックに広がるツツジの画がなんとも調和された美しさでいつまでも見ていたくなるシーンでした。

いつもありがとうございます。三室戸寺は萬福寺を訪れた際にその流れでお参りしたはずなのに、ほとんど記憶がありません。お寺には申し訳ないんですが。本堂前に並んだ甕に植えられている蓮が枯れたままでがっかりしたことだけは覚えています。こんなに躑躅が美しいお寺だったとは。

ここはツツジの季節に絶対行くべきだと紫陽花を見に行き、思っていました。実はAnna さんはここを撮りに行くと確信していました(笑)このツツジの山と姿がすぐ隠れてしまうようなツツジの壁はすごいですね。映像のように、こんな五月晴れの日に鮮やかなツツジに埋め尽くされてみたいです。ツツジ幻想とでも名付けたいような美しい映像でした😊😊😊

三室戸寺にこんなに大きな躑躅の山があるなんで知りませんでした。まるで紅白の油絵の具で描いた絵のようですね。青い空と清澄な空気と寂静ともいえる人の少なさは、この躑躅たちが確かに宇宙の中にあるんだということを感じさせてくれました。お堂の前にあった大きなな兎の石像には、どんな意味があるんでしょうね？牛の石像もあったので天神様ですかね？でも、兎だと大国様ですよね？不思議。

壮大なツツジ園を目の当たりにすると私も、宇宙といった壮大な奇跡を意識してしまいます。兎の像は菟道稚郎子が宇治に来た際、兎が道案内したとの伝承によるものだそうです。そういえば三室戸寺周辺は莵道という地名でした！！牛の石像は、三室戸寺のご利益を象徴しているようです！！

身近で観ると ツツジが咲いたな～ くらいだったので 瞬きも勿体ないほど魅せられました。桜は八重桜、コスモスは日本古来の色が大好きで... 不思議な感覚でした。

I remember visiting Uji in late-May of 2019, the Azaleas had passed and the hydrangeas were about a week or two away. Mimuroto-ji was so tranquil to visit with breathtaking views
