- Here I showcase how a simple bitcoin transaction (p2pkh) works. It's important to understand the foundation of bitcoin if you want to understand the crypto and blockchain space as a whole. Could you clarify how a video, animation fragments, images or 3Dobject for example, to store into the blockchain?
So, basically, the idea behind my question on how to create a unique digital object using blockchain technology.
Do I need to use the relation DB for referential purpose, because, it hard to imagine to put in the block huge amount of information(whole 3D object, Movie or Sound Tracks)?
Could you explain the process, probably in the next part of the Blockchain course?

I'm not sure it's an idea that would work. But you can store them however you want. Serialize them just like bitcoin or hash them maybe. Depends on what you want to accomplish. The problem is that the objects themselves will probably be too large to actually propagate properly in a decentralized network. The latency would be too big.
@@filipmartinsson8766 What I'm trying to accomplish, it's make the digital object (Picture, 3Dmodel or Soundtrack) unique, that's all. I think it's interesting topic to explore. Hope your will dedicate next course to learn this area in more detail in the academy.

With all of these utxo’s constantly being broken into smaller utxo’s, won’t all bitcoins eventually end up being tiny bits of dust?
Only if people send smaller and smaller amounts.
Filip Martinsson seems like with every transaction, some amount will get broken into a smaller amount (for change, fees, etc). More just curious if that was a trend that might emerge when mass adoption happens. Is it more work for the miners if a transaction has a large amount of small UTXOs?
If you send a Tx, you can combine multiple utxo's and send it to 1 utxo to to receiver
Like fabrice said. Tx fees are small yes, but miners will take thousands and thousands of small tx and just make 1 output. So no, this is not generally an issue.

What does it mean when people say the real Satoshi can prove his identity by simply “signing a transaction”?
Satoshi owns the first bitcoins that were ever created. They were mined and sent to a specific address and has been sitting untouched for years. By signing a message or a tx with the private key that corresponds with that address, a person could prove that he/she is Satoshi.
Filip Martinsson I understand that part, and I understand that Satoshi could send a transaction, but what does “sign a message” mean?
You can sign anything with a private key. So if you sign a message we can see that it comes from that person which holds that private key.
You can do this in many bitcoin wallets actually.
@@meredithrose2889 To sign a message means to take the message and your private key and pass it to a cryptographic function to a get a signature.
msg + private key ==> signing algorithm ==> (digital) Signature.
Then, anyone who has the public key (to that private key) can again use the public key + the signature to verify that the signature was indeed signed by the private key to that public key.
signature + publicKey ==> verifying algorithm ==> match/not a match
