Historic trivia note: Starting around 25:25 we can catch glimpses in the distance of, from left to right, Picacho Peak, Picacho Pass, and the Picacho Mountains. The Picacho Pass was the site of the western most battle of the Civil War. A detachment of Union soldiers coming from California fought a small group of Confederates coming from Tucson, which had previously been taken over by the Confederates. Three Union soldiers were killed in the battle.

98 degrees? Cold snap. But it's 'dry heat'. Yeah. I-10 towards Phoenix is carved from several older highways. Besides US 80, there's the Devil's Road, old US 666, and AZ 84, 86 and 93. From the I-8 interchange ahead, I-10 cut it's own path northwest into Phoenix.
