I hadn’t seen this video but just purchased almost the exact same set up! I messed up the ventilation on my first try tonight. I’m going with your method through the window. Thank you!
I started to do this two years ago for my cigar needs...I decided to go with a shed and insulated it...later painting and decorated it and it's amazing. But this idea is what kick started my current reality. Great video!
I am using the exact same tent! It’s currently 0 degrees in the Chicago area and I am toasty. I use a 4 inch fan inside the tent and I run the exhaust on the ceiling hung with a bungee and it goes out the window . I have two electric heaters. A ceramic and an infrared. I also have a tarp on the patio with an outdoor carpet over it. Overall I love it for my first winter.
Good morning from chilly Utah! I dont have a smoke tent but do have radiant heat on my deck. I'm currently smoking the Espinosa Crema and pairing it with my Black Riffle Coffee this morning while I watched your video. Stay warm and stay smokey my friends 😊
I can't even heat enough my old caravan... I was thinking just a few days ago, when I will have a house with a patio, to be able to close a part of it with glass/windows during winter so I can steel enjoy it and chill there 😉
@@TheAverageDrinker in an old caravan in the middle mountains of France, just getting back from the forest, enjoying a wood and charcoals fire in the stove 👌 It will be less cold tonight with fresh (wet) wood 😅
Cool idea! Although I enjoy cigars during the warmer months I give my lungs and heart a break during the colder months and typically don’t have any cigars from November through March. Unless we get lucky with some warmer weather of course 😁. Great video! Keep up the good work!
Looks good. Have you tried swapping the heater and air filter placement? Since heat rises, you may want to place the heater as far away as possible. Or look at making a deflector to encourage it to pull from above.
I’m not a handy person so I went on the easier side. I put up a 3 man hunting blind, a camp table three folding chairs . The blind I fairly well ventilated and I use a rechargeable lantern for light and a propane Buddy Heater. Not near as nice as yours but it works for me
I did this exact set up a few years ago, fan, eskimo tent, heater, lights the whole thing. I am not sure if I used a 4" fan or a 6" fan but mine was still just too smoky. I smelled so bad after smoking a cigar in there I just couldn't do it again. I still have the tent but not sure what I will ever use it for again if I can't get ventilation sorted out.

Aw that’s awesome! Hope you love your set up and that the window works. Cheers!

Look into purchasing a small diesel RV heater! Very affordable. The Sprinter van people use them. You wouldn't even need a large one.
Nice!!!
Hell yea! Wish I didn’t live in a condo
If you had done this window method with your 4 inch fan, do you think that would have been sufficient for a single smoker?
For sure!!
@TheAverageDrinker awesome. So on a 6 in. flange, how wide was the hole, 6 1/4 inch?
Turn fan on low and get you a pellet stove you will just need to fill it once or twice a day depending on how often you go in there
You should auger a hole into the ground and go fishing!
Seems like the only real option haha!
Why not just invest in some good smoke eaters and just use the basement? Smoking in a tent seams kind of silly.
