Actually, PLAVE composed "Pump Up the Volume" in real time during one of their TH-cam live sessions (20k people were watching the live too!). The composer line also didn't expect that they'll be able to produce such a great song in under two hours and since fans liked the song so much, PLAVE decided to release it as a digital single as a gift for their fans! Additionally, they personally learned and played the instruments in the MV themselves while wearing motion capture suits. And btw, PLAVE composes all their songs and also makes all their choreographies for their songs! I really suggest doing a deep-dive into PLAVE since I personally think you're going to love their discography

quick explanation of zb1 good so bad mv for better understanding: the entire album "cinema paradise" follows a cinema concept from the tracklist being revealed as movies options at the theatre (with movie-like posters for each track) to the mv. yoo jitae represents the movie director while zb1 are the actors and yes, they are recreating different k-dramas/movies scenes however the author wants a sad ending, interpreted as a departure from their romantic interest and from the group itself since zb1 it's a temporary group meant to disband soon. throughout the whole mv they try to escape this ending till hanbin (the leader) cuts the connection with the author/reality (during the bridge) that's why the exact moment he does that he goes out of frame/the black edges of the mv, he's going off script. after hanbin cuts the connection the setting seams to change but it's actually the same as before, it just got darker (remember hanbin cut off the connection/lights) because they'd rather be in the dark but all together than part ways. in the mv there's also a writing on the wall "nothing lasts forever" but crossed in red because they refuse to accept this ending and are now writing their own thank you so much for reacting to their song 🫶🫶🫶
