I have tried and tried to do the flatter rosettes like you are having trouble with...and I found a technique that works from me...we both start off right but about in the middle we have the problem...solution...use a tiny stapler and staple your 1/2 finished rosette then finish the rest...works better for me every time...hope it might work for you too.

To use the Recollections paper it is only 12” and we need 22”. How do we cope with that? Cut it to 2”, 3”?
