@@bangkokandmore I suppose inflation is also rising in Thailand. But I think street food stalls don't have to pay for rents and electricity and staff wages. But supermarkets and restaurants or coffee shops in big shopping malls have to pay for all these overheads and costs. So, I think it's worthy to check out.. Thailand is an agricultural country rich in rice n vegetables, these prices may not rise sharply, I suppose. But, perhaps prices of other goods n services may rise.?? A lot of people are planning to travel to Thailand later after covid, I guess. It's a very beautiful n exciting country worth visiting a few times.. Finally, I suppose there is a newly opened seafood fish market recently in Bangkok , but I don't know the name n location. There are seats n tables available for shoppers to eat the seafood, which will be cooked immediately. Perhaps, if you have time, could you please check it out. Thank you
@@bangkokandmore there is a Macdonald right next to this new seafood market, it's part of the whole complex design . And there are many parking lots right in front of the market.. And there are other sections of the market, selling other items.. Eg flowers. North America new style mall..
My God how cheap can you get. I think the London (UK) stalls - (nearly all run by students, - mostly using "Daddy's Money"), compared to those, our stalls are 'an absolute rip-off'. For example - A small bun, with 1 or 2 small lettuce leaves, 2 or 3 thin slices of tomato, and a small beef-burger with a drop of tomato sauce, - price £3.50 or much higher. It's cheaper in McD's over here. Great Video.

A lady tried to charge me 3 Xs for a can of soda at the old train night market back in 2012. I already knew the price because I bought from there before with a Taiwanese girl that speaks Thai. And the second time I came with two male foreigners. She saw me with them and saw an opportunity. I don’t argue. I just turn around and go to an honest stall. How’s the “Thai price and farang price” today ❓Huge gap❓
I recommend a Patongo (fried dough stick) to eat with rice congee.(Jok/rice porridge). Patongo dip in Thai hot coffee or sweetened condensed milk also good. 😉

Most are selling by piece or served (chicken drumstick/grilled pork) , pricing on size like s/m/l at 20/30/40 THB But for the small pieces food like crisped pork/Jianghai fried pork will sales at served or weight at around 100-150g. (They will ask you like, "Kii Keed" whick means "How many grams" )
