Me too and I was like are you serious 😭 Seconds into the show has me already tearing up… it’s gonna be a tearful season whether it’s Happy or sad.

I watched it live during the Tudum event and I screamed when the Heartstopper logo appeared and was immediately crying seeing Cori and Kizzy. Also have watched this several times now (yours is the first reaction video I've seen!) and I get teary every time. So excited and really glad another adult had the same reaction I did 😆
You are correct about Kit being taller. He was about 5'11" in Season 1, he is now 6'1". Joe's still about 5'9". They're only 19 and it was only a 2 year difference, so it's surprising to see how much they look like MEN now. They look great, though, and I love them to bits.
I'm looking forward to Nick being extra clingy and seeing the two of them just completely smitten with each other. I'm looking forward to seeing Isaac at Shakespeare & Co. I'm looking forward to more Tara & Darcy. And honestly, I'm just looking forward to everything! Only 46 days to go!
I couldn't watch the event as I was supposed to be editing a project for a client but then when all the DMs started rolling in on Insta and Patreon I dropped everything because I couldn't wait until morning. No way.

What an amazing surprise to see this so soon after it came out! It was so good. I can’t.
I think “Heat” might refer to when it’s super hot in Paris & they go to the museum (can’t really say more without spoilers, but you’ve read the comics so I imagine you know what I mean).
I’m actually kind of looking forward to David in season 2-not because I like him or want to see Nick suffer, obviously, but more because the first season only depicted pretty supportive families, and I’m really interested to see them explore unsupportive family dynamics, since so many kids do experience that.
I couldn't possibly wait a moment more before getting this out there!! And, I actually fully agree with you about David. Yes, we've had Harry. But having an unsupportive family is something so common in the LGBT community (very close to my own heart) so will be great to see how they portray it!
I think Heat could be the Louvre visit? I liked that there were multiple ways to read the episode titles for season one so I am intrigued to see if that carries on in S2.

Already in love with the wholesome energy of those first two minutes; it's nice seeing Charlie's happiness with Nick in the comics translated well through Joe and Kit. Looking forward to the S2 reactions! I'll need to rewatch S1 myself before the premiere, lol.

Thank you so much for talking about how their pictures at the beginning looked bent and cut in half! It reminded me that we properly meet David (Nicks brother) and his horrid personality in the 3rd book bc he is talking to Charlie and then brings up the pictures on nicks shelf when he and Nick r fighting . I wonder if Nick will have the other half and if Charlie will meet David and we meet his ugly personality in the show like we did in the book?
I noticed that they were split too! Nick having the others in his room does make sense. Perhaps the episode ‘Family’ is where we might get that moment of David seeing them?

I adore this show and I'm unafraid to show it. And of courrrrrrrse I'm going to block out my calendar. There's no way in hell in getting caught on a photoshoot when I could be watching the new season on Heartstopper! It's just one of the many perks to being a freelance photographer!

I've watched the first scene about a dozen times, and I still got emotional watching it again with you. I have to say that I'm worried about "Sorry" because it's in the same place as "Bully" was in Season 1, so we know what they like to do with Episode 7. But still, I can't wait!

That would make it inconsistent with Solitaire, but there have been other points of divergence from the books and the show, so it’s possible. Still, THAT part in Solitaire wrecked me. I am not the same. I don’t think they’d put that into HS because it’s so dark, but it would be really out of character for Ben to swing from an apology in the summer to what he did practically 6 months later.

apparently the Paris episodes are likely going to be 4, 5, and 6. On IMDb, someone named Xavier Roy is listed as the line producer for Paris and is credited on those 3 episodes.

The time difference between them finishing season 1 filming and starting season 2 is a little over a year. Maybe a year and a half at most.
