It's nice watching an interview where 2 people wanna hear what each other have to say for a change. No talking over each other, just a respectful conversation
Trevor Noah is brilliant. I really enjoy watching him interview people- he listens and asks smart questions. And manages to keep the person he's interviewing engaged and comfortable. Great interview, nailed it.
Not sure how long you’ve been watching the show but Will has been one of his active mentors for a while, like since the beginning….I think you’re picking up on how their close relationship shows with how comfortable the conversation is
I like trevors Interview style. It's more of a discussion and especially the interviewee has to deal with someone who actually has read that book and does intelligent follow up questions.
I always respect the fact that Trevor Noah takes the time to read the guests books. They are many an interview he gives a synopsis of the book in as a preface to the first question. Respect.
@@williamthatsmyname That's probably true for most late night hosts (and the ones I watch are usually are very transparent about it), but Trevor is different. And it really shows, the way he talks about the books sounds like someone who paid attention and read it all and not like someone who got a summary and highlights, that just wouldn't cut it.
As someone who, at 37, only just this year spoke to his parents about long-term mental health issues that have been ongoing for 25+ years, who thought HE was late to the conversation, hearing what Will said about being 52 and talking to his mom for the first time about his dad's abuse gave me chills and made me feel a little bit lighter inside.
