AMANDA!! Yes, it was a pleasure meeting you too! We totally meant to ask you if you have other social media accounts but forgot🤦♂️.. Please feel free to follow us back on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter! We’ll be back in July!!!
@@DaverrasonTravelsI’m so far behind on posting stuff lol. I’m still working on putting our whole December trip out haha. I also still have January and we went at the end of February 😬 we’ve spoiled ourselves in Vegas trips lately 😅
Love the video! Always happy to find new vegas vlogs. I had to laugh (sort of) when you mentioned how hard it is to get cocktail service in Bellagio. I was there in August a few years ago and we were walking up and down the strip, I got overheated and we went in the bellagio to get a water and rest. Waited 20 minutes looking like I was having a heat stroke before my husband eventually went and begged water from the bar. But, I won on the slot i sat in front of so I guess I can't be too mad. LOL
Lol! That’s too funny because we have had similar experiences! If you are ever back at the Bellagio, go to the sport book or baccarat bar. Sit at the bar, put in a $20 (required) and order a good drink! Play with your $20, cool down, and order a few good cocktails! Thanks so much for your support!!
I remember the first time I got recognized out in the wild 👀👀😆. Upscale Olive Garden … yikes 😱… Sonia was very diplomatic 😆😆. Good to see y’all back in Vegas 🤘
Lol! Yeah, didn’t want to be mean about the restaurant, but I guess you could pick up on my true feelings! 😂 Looking forward to your feedback when we tried playing keno for the first time on Day 3! 😆 It was so much fun!!
Great job with the Video. Very easy to watch and nice editing. I won over 1800 on that Conan Machine you were playing in Cosmo. When I was there in Jan. Going next week and can’t wait!
That’s an awesome win! So excited for your upcoming trip! We will be back in 34 days, but who’s counting. Lol Hope you have a blast and win big! Thanks for the kind words and for watching our video! ☺️
Right on with kudos for Hattie b's. One recommendation is get your comp drink on casino floor and bring that to have w meal! Drinks at Hattie are expensive >$8.
Lol, yeah. Just the way we are. 🤷♀️ There is enough negativity all over social media 😆 Would rather be helpful and hopefully entertaining. 🤞🏻😜 Thanks for watching!
5:32 and I’m thinking Sonia is holding back how she really feels about that bonus 😅🙈. That mystery pick with the 3 games was also brutal but great you got some hits in the HL room 🤘🏼🎰
Lol! I’m always holding back about some of those dumb bonuses! 😆 Yeah, the HL room was fun! That’s the only place the cocktail server was coming around. Be sure to check out our day two for the review of the magnificent kettle 😜 Thanks so much for watching Matrix!
What a great video! I really like your style. You made me feel like I was there in Vegas with you, and getting me even more stoked for my trip in two weeks. I am glad I found you, and will now be hitting that Subscribe button. Now to get caught up on your other videos. 👍
Thank you so much for the kind words! We love Vegas and enjoy sharing it with others. Really appreciate the support! We have a few more videos coming out from this last trip!
Great seeing you guys in Vegas again. NIce wins but peer pressure is so hard to say no to. Will be trying your extra tender tip at Gordan Ramsey's Fish and Chips in about three weeks. See ya next time.
Great vid. Just finished booking our car today. Room booked, flight booked already. Back in 2 months with the wife for our 20th Anniversary in June. Cant wait. Was there in March with my buddy total bust, did not win once.
Thanks! 20th year anniversary….that’s great! We just celebrated ours last year! Yeah, we had some decent wins but not as big as we have had in the past. Have a great time!!
Tried Hattie B's for the first time last trip. Had a slammin' chicken sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese for 15 bucks which is a great deal for food on the strip. I'm already used to paying that much for lunch back home in NY, lol. It's definitely now added to my list of must haves when I'm in Vegas, along with Poshburger. Only 5 days until I'm back!
Totally agree! We also loved posh burger. Check out the Aria food hall, proper eats! It was really good. I had chicken pita and Dave had the Mediterranean plate at Shalom Y’all…..would def go back there again! It’s on an upcoming vid!
Another great video guys! Keep them coming! Fellow San Antonians here but much older! We need your recommendations for an anniversary dinner! We visit twice a year but we are always looking for cool spots! Thinking of trying Delmonicos next month…. What do you suggest?
Hey fellow San Antonians! We have yet to try Delmonicos but have heard good reviews! Some of our faves for a date night/anniversary dinner: -Mayfair supper club (probably our fave for the whole experience! Watching the fountains, live music/entertainment, and awesome food!) -Bavette’s (very classic steakhouse, amazing steaks!) -Herbs and Rye (good steaks, but even better drinks! Their mixologists are top notch!) -Lakeside (fantastic steaks and seafood with a view of the lake of dreams) -SW steakhouse (the whole experience was awesome from the bread service, drinks, views of the lake, and the steaks were top notch!) -Oscar’s (we have yet to try it, but on the list!) Thank for watching!! ☺️
@@DaverrasonTravels Thanks guys! Great ideas…. Oscars has been our favorite so far along with Golden Steer! Bavettes looks like the winner! Thanks again!
And I forgot to mention that I think the sourdough bread at Bavette’s was the best we have ever had with the seasoning and butter. I still dream about it. 😆
Enjoy the videos! Why do you speed thru the bonuses and let us know what happens on screen with the subtitles before it happens? Lol Wife and I love the anticipation of what is going to happen 😊
Lol! We have thought about leaving the whole bonus but thought the video would be too long?? What are your thoughts?? We want to keep people engaged 😆🤔 Thanks so much for watching and really, we would love your feedback! ☺️
@@DaverrasonTravels we like to make evenings of watching these videos. The longer the better! We always say we can fast forward ourselves if we want to but can’t watch what isn’t there. Looking forward to the day 2 of this trip!
Love the renovated NY NY reviews besides the bathroom disappointment. I'm actually a fan of the electronic elevators especially at Circa, where you can press it before getting around the corner to the elevators. I just don't think there is any fixing the NY NY elevator waits without building more elevators.
you have to get the spike peach tea slushie at hattie B's , iv been going and staying at cosmo for years and just discovered the drink , its soooooo dang good. youll thank me later
Hi, hope you don’t mind me asking, but do you know if they still do the those amazing proper onion rings at the Tap Bar at the MGM? Last time in 2018 I was able to go to Vegas, that’s when I last had them.
Have never had them but will definitely check on our next trip which is in like 3 months 😆 We go pretty often. Lol Dave loves onion rings so we will have to get some! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
@@DaverrasonTravels Thank you so much! I just wish it wasn’t 10.5 hours on a plane for me & £600-£700 average round trip flight! Can’t wait to go back again, possibly even this year. Our comped NYNY player’s suite was pretty cool for us tho.
Ur video popped up in my feed. Very good reviews. I understand now that MGM properties automatically post ur slot play to ur card. You dont have to go to the rewards desk to active it anymore. Is that true?
Thanks so much! Free play still needs to be activated at desk but slot play is calculated and shows on your app. You can use it at any machine without having to go to the desk :)
Hey guys--I binged a few of your videos. Good job on the content & editing. Quick question/opinion -- would you say the Nomad is worth the increased cost over, say, NYNY & Park MGM? Money isn't too much of an object for me, but just curious if you think it's worth an extra $50-100 a night. Thanks!
Gotta say thanks for binging our vlogs first! At Nomad we’ve only had a chance to experience ’The Grand Suite’ (the one with the soaking tub in the bedroom) and the separate living area added the extra space we were looking for. It does feel like a whole separate experience as there is a hotel lobby just for Nomad guests. At the check-in we were also offered a mini-fridge and some bath salts for the soaking tub. I believe it is free if you ask at the desk, but there is a charge if you call from your room and ask.🤷🏻♂️ In all fairness, we have yet to stay in a Park MGM room so we can’t compare them. We’ve seen other vlogs on Park MGM rooms and they look nice, we just haven’t stayed in one..yet. We did stay at a renovated NYNY standard king room. The room and aesthetics were great! We felt with the new layout there was ample space. The bathroom was ‘touched up’ but not fully renovated. I also thinks it comes down to the casinos as well. Do you prefer a little more rowdy in the evening (NYNY) versus busy in the evenings but more chill (Park MGM). Obviously your call, but if you can snag a room at Nomad for ~$50 more a night I do feel it’s worth it.
@@DaverrasonTravels Thanks for the reply. I will factor that in my decision. If the Nomad will throw in a free mini-fridge, that definitely influence my decision. Most MGM properties seem to charge for it or only buckle if you say you need it for storing medication, lol.
Me too. When we originally bought a condo in Vegas (we live full time in Chicago) I made this mistake at least a dozen times, and no one corrected me. Finally, I told a guy who was delivering some art we were just north of Mandalay Bay on the strip and he said, no you don’t! Ugh. What I learned is I’m directionally challenged everywhere I go!
@@DaverrasonTravels Like you and your spouse, my wife and I fell in love with Vegas and for years, made sure to visit often. It was kind of "our place". We gamble a bit, but we love the food, entertainment and the outdoor activities more than the slots, etc. Anyway, keep up the great content. Your passion for Vegas is contagious. If you haven't been, try to get to the Golden Steer on your next visit. It's really one of the last of the remaining old school Vegas originals. We have a short list of off the radar restaurants that locals love to frequent--and this is one of them. Enjoy.
