Who would’ve thought that almost 4 years exactly from when this was recorded that Emily would be boldly testifying in General Conference just as Paul testified in the book of Ephesians! It was so fun to hear about Emily’s prayer of abundance and testimony of sharing the Gospel with love -and see where the last 4 years have taken Don’t Miss This! I love you both and appreciate so much your teaching and testimonies! Thank you!

At 17:46. where you talk about the incredible love Christ and God have for us I experienced a moment in time as my husband was passing he had been suffering for 15 years. And before he became unconscious I had a moment, where, as I looked at him in this terrible state I told him how much I loved him. I had this incredible feeling of this energy , coming from the inside of my being, where I felt like I was going to burst. The thought came to me, if I felt this intense feeling for one person it was beyond my comprehension how father in heaven can love all of us those that are living now and those gone before. It gave me a very tiny insight on how incomprehensible his true love for us. This has been a very powerful lesson for me. I will have to rewatch it several times to get it

I had never thought of this before as relating to putting on the whole armor of God but as you were reading those verses my thoughts went to the initiatory ordinance done in the temples. If you do not have the ordinance memorized listen next time to the purpose of why this is done and the protection we are promised now and in the future if we are faithful and the blessings that will be ours. It brings a different aspect of putting on the armor of God.

I had an Education Week presenter make a rough stick-man drawing of this passage in Ephesians, and it became so obvious to me in that moment that this symbolism corresponds to our individual temple garment, and boom! The temple opens right up! I see that more and more in Paul.

I love the part in Isaiah 58:8 of the Lord being the Rearguard in footnote 8c. The image that came to my mind, as I am a total Disney girl, was the part in the Lion Kind where Simba is with the Hyena's and they ask him to roar and he does his little roar and then Mufasa is behind him and roars and the Hyena's scatter. He is the power behind us and also the protector, we are never alone in this battle. Love you both and will miss you guys next week xxx

Thank you so much! I was reminded of the scripture “There I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up’ [D&C 84:88]” while you were talking about Jesus Christ being in our armor and our rearward. Jesus Christ is always right there as we strive to do what is right. Thank you again!

Something came to me when reading about putting on the armour of God - putting on these individual pieces in the end creates a 'whole armour' and with each piece we become more complete and leads us to perfection - which is what this mortal existence is all about - working towards perfection. We probably won't attain perfection in this life but it will lead us to the perfection required in the eternities. I'm not sure if this is correct but this is what the Spirit prompted me to know and understand.

Put on the whole armor of god is understanding that your spiritual knowledge is all that you need not that we have an army to force others to do what you want even in protection of others or that of our godly rights. Only that if we are in the state righteousness, we can act for God just as if He was present, knowing His will for the righteous. But you can’t do anything for yourself or others if you or the people are in unrighteousness state, no manor how righteous the cause, be it for self or others. It must be under revelation knowing God's will in how it will affect everyone, knowing that even the enemy individually was warden so that you can in fleck harm to others if need be. Even if an army attacks you, your family or country [kingdom] knowing that you can act for God understand that not only that you can act in righteousness and that it is the will of God also. Even in the Christmas Advent Story the Romans knew who the Magi were for they were fighting with them for over 148 years and knew that a few of their priesthood could conjuror the elements and even have the earth swallow them up but didn’t want the world to know about their power of having a priesthood that could cause these type of events like the drowning of the Egyptians Army by Moses or the Pillar of Light that led them. And the Roman had reports not disclosed that the Pillar of Light {star] was leading the Magi Army that encamped near Jerusalem Larger as large as the Roman Legion. And King Herod sent spy after them to learn the were about of the New King of the Jews. After all their reason for coming was to give Jesus His coronation and provide protection for the holy family but the Roman Government and Religion did want you to Know that so it was not in the Bible. According to some of history the Magi were the Parthians that cause the Roman Legion to retreat twice back to the Mediterranean east with the Priesthood Power of Conjuring nature to fight for them. And the Magi were at that time a more modern army even with rifles, guns and rockets with explosives that intimidate the Romans. The Star or Pillar of Light made level passageways through mountains and then return them back to their nature formation. If we get to that point of righteousness, we don’t need an army, only revelation to do God's will for the righteous! Are we righteous enough?

@@jjkirby Just more info for whoever is interested: "Even after their death, the shells of sand dollars still provide a source of calcium carbonate for our oceans. As it can sometimes be difficult to determine whether or not a sand dollar is alive, it's always best to leave them where they were found."
But if one is found and simply must be kept, be 100 percent sure that it is no longer a living being. In most states taking a live sand dollar is illegal, but laws vary about collecting a dead one, so check for signs at the beach or ask an employee.

I''ve been playing "catch up" on your videos and noticed how often Emily interrupts David!!! In this one she STOLE David's "favorite scripture"!!! She talks soooooo much more than him, which is distracting after people got after David for "interrupting" her. It's not the "Emily show", or is it? I love his comments just as much as hers and I miss his!!! I "skipped" the parts where Emily talked to "test" and it was VERY SHORT just getting David's thoughts!!!! You might consider giving each other EQUAL TIME talking. You both are obviously spiritual, but I get frustrated when David is talking and Emily gets "excited" and overtakes what he was saying!!! LET HIM TALK LIKE HE LET'S YOU TALK!! It should be mutual respect!!!

I love your videos, but they are so long! I'm watching this week's and am almost 30 minutes in and you've hardly touched on this week's lesson.

Beverly Cravath, please stop watching if you are unhappy with the length. Personally, I find the time or length of their videos perfect.
It can take me an entire week to get through their video. I watch & follow along once, and again I am watching, pausing, watching, as I highlight & link scriptures, music, talks, books, personal thoughts and inspiration, etc. This is how I study my scriptures.
Please stop worrying about the time that they’re spending and worry about how much you are studying your scriptures so you can remember the things that they taught you. Take time to listen to the Spirit, After all your knowledge is all you’re going to take with you to the next world..
In every video there has been a beautiful message from the spirit that I can use to improve my life. Express these thoughts in your notes on your LDS app. It is one of my favorite daily things to do, to write in my notes so I can use them for later or leave to my family when I am graduated from this earthly (probationary) experience.

@@TheJlleyba , thank you for your judgmental and critical response.

Beverly Cravath, no judgement on my part. I am Sorry if you think so. Giving ideas of how I study or suggesting you don’t watch the videos because you feel they are too long for you, is far from judgment. I would hate to think what your response would be if it was Christ speaking to you. When Christ spoke to his disciples or anyone for that fact (Paul on the road to Damascus), he was kind but direct. “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Acts 9:4. Is He judging Saul or educating him? In my opinion it is no different than me giving you some thought of a study program etc.
Again I am sorry if you were offended by my comments, I was offended that you were telling them that their videos were too long. Sometimes they are long & other times they are shorter. If you don’t want to spend that much time then fast forward or don’t watch.
With love your sister in the gospel!

I like some of the stories but LOVE EVEN MORE when you guys break down the actual SCRIPTURES with background. (Like in the beginning when he explained turkey and Ephesus) that stuff is priceless. I love when you take time on the scriptures bc it helps me to understand so much more when I go back and read. Thanks for all that you guys do!
