Florian, Florian...what can I say except I feel your every moment when you are playing such wonderful songs. You are a true love. Keep yourself safe over there in Germany. I am just getting over COVID and will be glad to be able to go anywhere hopefully tomorrow....but in the mean time I am listening to your beautiful songs. Bonnie from CA
A trip over time music wise. I'm closing my eyes and allowing your music to add positive energy to my world. When we have something to create and share... LOCKDOWN is a blessing not a burden. Thanks for taking the time to UPLIFT us with your music Florian 🥰😘😍😎😋
What a fantastic start to my Sunday morning, lovely selection of tunes and beautifully played as always, you go from strength to strength with your music, thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with us all, all the best from Scotland.
It s very rare to find a musician like you playing that kind of organ like that. I play and teach organ too, here in Indonesia. it s called Yamaha electone, different style and technology . I know all the difficulties in playing organ manually like you. You switched the rhythms and sound registrations all manually by your hands, without any mistakes, while you keep the musical flow of all songs continuesly sweetly. That s so amazing work of you. Big love from Indonesia. I wish i could meet you in person oneday, there in Germany, and copy your amazing talented musical brain to my brain..hahah, if i would be allowed to do that.. 😘😘😘
I remember seeing the great Klaus Wunderlich twice in Leicester UK, and one of his concerts he played a tour of britain medley, and this has brought back so many great memories. Fantastic Florian, keep up the good work
Thank you very much, Simon. Yes, it was part of his UK Tour in 1989 to promote the LP, that contained a lot of the songs. This was the inspiration for my version, although i don’t play exactly all the songs, that were in the original or added some, that only were on the LP. 😉👍
@@florianhuttermusic Yes I remember it well. his first concert I saw he was playing the Wersi Helios and was promoting his album "On The Sunny Side Of The Street, then the second concert i saw he was playing the Spectra where he was playing these songs. He was a true genius, and I have no doubt that you will follow in his footsteps. Best Wishes,Simon
Thank you very much, Daniel. Yes, i think you definitely will hear, that he is one of my biggest idols, not only because of the playing style, but also because of the wonderful sound. 😉👍
Your precise with your publishing, I thought I'd have a look because the time was about right and I was free and got it within 1 minute from the land of hope and glory.
would love for you to come to Nova Scotia sometime and meet my dad who has been playing organ for well over 50 years by the way your playing is awesome
I certainly enjoy every posting that you make. More so because I will never personally hear a concert of yours since you don't make it here to the U.S. I am certain that those fans in Europe and the U.K. will be able to enjoy your music and talents in the future again, but, until then we still have your postings.
This was a Marvelous “Tour of Britain Medley “, Florian. 🇬🇧 You are Great at everything you attempt. Sounds like somewhere I’d like to be. ♥️🎼🎶🥀♥️🇬🇧Though I favor your” SwingStyle “song selections, this Medley is going to be right up there at the top of my favorites. Have a great Week .You’ve gotten mine off to a good start. Much Love 💕 from America. ♥️🇺🇸💙. ♥️🎼🎶🥀♥️🥰Chris.
Beautiful playing, as ever. I didn't realise that you'd played in the UK. I looked on your Facebook and saw that you'd been in Huntingdon. If only I'd known! Let's hope you'll soon return, once this madness is over, and I'll definitely come to hear you play. :)
Thanks James, yes I’ve played in Huntingdon and also Cheltenham. I think I’ve been in the UK every year since 2014. Hopefully this will be possible again in future, but for 2021 I’m not very optimistic to be honest, maybe 2022. 😉👍
I really enjoyed your Tour of Brirain and would love to hear you play more 'traditional' British music. especially from the West Country where I live. Try 'Widdicombe Fair' and 'Glorious Devon' for instance, or maybe have fun with music by the Wurzels or the Fisherman's Friends? I'd love to see you play live if you were ever in my part of the world.
Thank you very much, Chris. Well, I’m obviously trying to play music, that is known worldwide, so that’s always a bit difficult with traditional songs, but maybe there will be more. 👍
Thanks Daan, well you’re getting used to it after doing this for a long time, but yes, especially some of the more complicated Intros/Endings or the March of the last song „There’ll always be an England“ can cause frustrating moments 😬
Well, Florian, that was an interesting, different take on Land of Hope and Glory - and I do *not* mean that sarcastically. I’d never thought of it in a pop sense but you made it work. Auld Lang Syne is naturally more pop (as in "of the people") and sits well with your style. But you capped it for me with White Cliffs of Dover - such a great interpretation / arrangement. (Did I get a hint of Blackpool Tower Wurlitzer sound and style from @ 6:44 to @ 7:10 - particularly around @ 7:03?) You presented a tastefully spiced up quartet of herbs in Scarborough Fair, and I could visualise the kilts swinging in your Mull of Kintyre. I can well imagine such a medley would go down well in the UK - it does here in my little bit of Australia. Bravo!
Well played Florian my friend, I believe I'm correct in saying the organ is keeping perfect tempo be it 100 beats per minute or 160 for example. The drum synthesizer will never Accelerando or ritard unkess the organist tells it to do so. If perchance you are not playing on the beat, It's sure it's intentional and a form of syncopation. Do you agree?
As with every electronic organ or keyboard you can of course adjust the tempo of the rhythm and it keeps this registration. Especially for this kind of medleys that i play always exactly the same way, i create all my rhythms by myself and add the tempo in advance, so that i don’t have to adjust anything while playing and only have to change the rhythms. That’s just pure drums, it doesn’t have anything to do with my actual playing and i don’t use any kind of automatics in general just to be clear. 😉
Due to covid definitely not in a near future and in general it’s not that easy, as it would be very difficult and expensive to bring an organ there, which I‘m pretty sure nobody would be willing to pay for. But who knows, maybe there will be a chance in future.
I have a professional musician of class here with me tonight as a visitor. He says he likes your style and all, but, one thing he notices is that you have a tendency to glide off beat and lose the tempo. Otherwise it would be perfect since you have an unique style that is definitely your own.
*This is a Medley, that i played very often at my concerts in the UK. Don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe to the channel, if you enjoy it.* 😉👍
