To those who are wondering, no, it's not click bait.
INSANE! The longest game I've ever played (and kept track of rounds) was a 17 round game. Lasted 20 minutes. But these guys are on a whole 'nother level.

Is Trey not foot faulting? Like a lot? If I understand the rule correctly, the foot must not cross the line before bag lands.
bag must leave hand before crossing line
Harley is correct. The judges just werent calling it. The bag must land and everything on the boards stop moving before crossing the foot foul line. Honestly I personally dont think it matters because it doesnt affect what was already thrown, but that is the rule, yes.
@@jcash8762 Not for ACL events. Their rule is once the bag is out of the hand. Different rules for different organizations.
You can hear the noise that distracted Trey Burchfield in his backswing at the 37:21 mark. I think this game would of lasted another 20 rounds if that noise never happened.

How do you score each round???
bag in is 3, on is 1, off is 0. it doesn't matter how the bag gets in the hole, your bag can push mine in and it counts as three points to me. same thing with knocking a bag off the board. yours can knock mine off and i would get 0 points. scoring cancels out, just like horseshoes if you are familiar with that. but lets say i have 3 points and you have 2 for the round, once they cancel out i would get plus 1 for the round. hope this helps :)

Josh had a chance to lock that puppy up at 20-13 with a very easy toss. stuck at 20 way too long, yowza. Made an easy decision overly complicated. Goes to show how the pressure locks the muscles up in crunch time (Tommy ;) ) . Congrats to these maniacs. Incredible bags.

Anyone else feel like Trey had a distinct advantage by NEVER having to update the scoreboard? He gets to be first in the box every round. Someone tell me why? Even a year after video upload? 😂
Sometimes it is declared by the players that someone does the score while the other prepares the bags for the next round. Doing the score doesn't require full bending over. I would rather do the score. Plus you know the score is good because you did it. The other player has to still check and confirm it.

Great match, but not as good as Erick Davis vs Kaleb "The Machine" Hurt at the ACO Blue Ridge Major Championships in Season 15. Stronger players and tougher match for a bigger title.

It's more interesting if you compete at that level. Like any sport where a lot of players fight to be the best. If you don't care, then it's boring.
Used to think the same thing. Then I started playing competitively, became really good and was hooked. And believe me, theirs a whole lot more strategy and science to it than you could imagine. I know it's not for everybody but when you play at that level it's a hell of a lot of fun.
@@josephgrafton9786 facts man. i recently got into it and im hooked. i always found cornhole interesting, mostly because i played enough yard games like washers to know how hard those games can be.

Tell us what is not boring? Cornhole is absolutely amazing if you allow yourself to become passionate about it. You don't even have to win to love it. It is especially great to throw bags and if you do, it's more enjoyable thereafter to watch !
