This is great video. I have been disabled by balance issues for a long time. It really affects my quality of life. But trying to get these services with a Medi Care HMO is near impossible.
I am morbidly obese after decades of indulging almost exclusively in carbohydrates. I started eating only carnivore and over 4 months lost 45 lbs of fat and gaining 5 lbs of muscle. Because of this change in weight distribution, I now seem to have balance issues. Does your program address balance issues after weight loss?
Can they do surgery to help me having any balance ever. I DON'T care about risks because at least my chance of dying on the operating table will make me calmer and happier.
I notice some people in their seventies have balance issues and walking bent over a bit. That's happening to me. Trying not to use a cane. Have a exercise bike now. I still work a lot which involves a lot of walking- you would think that would've helped me from getting this way. I take a lot of vitamins. A, B, and D. I don't get a lot of sleep.
Why aren't my doctor's doing any of these tests? I have had some kind of balance issue for over a year now and have been to and ENT who said Vestibular Neuritis tried to treat with Meds, didn't work went to a Neurologist says its Migraine Vertigo treating with Meds still not working. None of these tests have been done. I have done VRT for 6 weeks and its still there. This sucks! It all started with a random "Panic attack" with my heart rate shooting up to 150 bpm which I have never had and from that day on I have been left 24/7 walking on a trampoline. I'm 35 years old. I just wish someone could help me but it seems Drs don't seem to know how to correct the issue. I feel like they just throw meds and hope it works then its see ya in 6 months!
Nick Hullo Right under the Upload date it states this: Stanford's new Balance Center is one of the few medical centers in the country to offer an interdisciplinary program for comprehensive testing. Wish I had the funds to visit this place and talk to these drs about my vestibular disorder. I to have been put through the ringer with doctors. Wish I lived in Palo Alto California to visit. So, the reason your drs are not running these tests is most likely they do have the equipment to do so, or the knowledge when it comes to balance and neurological disorders.
No one is wanting to get down to the source I did have neck surgery only because i went to ER for constricted chest pain and happened to have a mri record on me that I showed him.
Otolaryngology is a joke. Unless you have BPPV or meneiers it doesn’t tell much. I’ve seen multiple of these for years and it’s same tests and they say it’s just vestibular migraines and pppd.
We need these centers in all areas.

Can hearing aids cause balance or vertigo problems?
