Hey, TGS, the Ithica Model 37 in 16 guage is a great gun. It also has no disconnector, so after the first shot, you hold the trigger down, and it will keep firing follow-up shots when bird hunting. You Brits should investigate American pump action shotguns. They make great bird hunting guns. I own one!!
Thank you so much for showing the in-depth coverage on Simon's Pigeon gun. That kind of thing is absolutely a dream gun for me, and I really hope to find one myself.
I would spec a 30", 12 bore, SxS round action sidelock ejector, hammergun, double trigger. Straight hand stock, HP steel proofed, fixed choke 1/4 and 1/4, game rib. You wouldn't see many of them about.
About that "keeping a gun for a while then selling" thing. I've picked up 9 guns from Holts so far, with the intention of selling four. So far, only one has left (and that one as a loss). Easy to buy, hard to sell.
If i was going to walk in and order a custom shotgun gun: • 20 guage • Damascus steel barrels • titanium sleeved • colorcase hardened • Black walnut stock, very high grade • Mammoth tusk sight bead • black cherry wood crescent moon on the forend • interchangeable barrels 45-70 government
I have to ask how long does a auction last with sooo many firearms in the auction. Does it last days...? Do they hold up every one and bid on it. Sorry I have to ask a stupid question.
Round knob looks classic. Much better looking for sawed Offs too😂

Stephen Grant sidelever is my dream gun. Nothing more sexy en elegance than that.
I would consider anything from Purdy or Boss a dream gun. Oh yeah. Holland &Holland is on that list also.
and Piotti... 🙂

That sounds pretty good gorgeous to me, I like the addition of the 45-70 barrels too! Jolly nice indeed!
When you where speaking about over places having more freedom than the UK i absolutely loved the way you said FREEDOM
Love it! Are there any English made shotguns made and shipped to America, that I could buy? That are affordable? Less that $7000.00?
I would love to see Longthorne do a Titanium barrelled 4 bore side by side, might aid the "pointability" of the gun
I’d want a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range
Only if it comes in wolf grey cerakote with a binary trigger 😂

Oh mate i would love to have holts here and the prices to match, no wonder you have an armoury jonny
Americans have armories these guys have more like sportingries😂
@Darthdoodoo america has junk and stuff you don't need
Johnny are you going to do videos on the firearms you won in the auction?
I only won 2 😢
@@tgsoutdoors Only 2? That's okay! I only won 1. I hope you do a video on those 2.
Damascus side x side barrels with a light oak wood single D trigger TSK stock
Oak stocks ? Not sure that's wise.
how much did the first gun make ( purdy)
£16k I believe
Am I losing my mind or was this video posted previously?
Most of it has been, check the description.
In parts over on TGS, this is the full holts compilation to make life easier for those looking through auction back catalogues
Why is SImon's double-barrel hammer gun too tight for most game hunting? I have a lot of success hunting pheasants with full and modified chokes.
4bore is a high goose gun!
30,000 feet.
