Great work, Very detailed explanation on all questions and I got 14/15 correct. Thanks to Eduhubspot and Gautam for the support and setting up the concepts and PMP mindset.
Listen to this guy if you want to pass your exams. I took the exams a month ago for the first time and watched this video two days before my exams ( which I also took virtually thanks Pearson vue !) he brought a new perspective of eliminating wrong answers and made me focused. yep, 2024 PMP leans more to Agile and agile mindset ! #Pearsonvue #PMPexam,. Thank you Gautham!!
in the last question 36:06 , you chose D. My question is : When we have to appoint a product owner to the project? after creating the project charter? Also, should project charter be created by product owner?
Thanks Gautham for another excellent video, very informative and good mix of Agile questions. I scored 💯. Love the way you deduce every question and provide rationale for eliminating the irrelevant answer choices.
I'm a little confused. On question 11, it seems like the Product Owner should be picking the stories to be delivered in the sprint, as the Product Owner needs to prioritize the backlog. How does the team picking the stories to be delivered not interfere with backlog refinement? Thanks for all the great videos!
There’s a product backlog which contains a Prioritized list of all that the project has to achieve . It’ is the responsibility of the product owner. Then there is a sprint backlog which is a subset of the product backlog which has smaller items or decomposed stories as task which will run through the sprint to achieve smaller more specific goals . So this spring backlog is the responsibility of the team . How ever in between both of them you may have a release backlog which Is subset of product Backlog and from which items are picked from into the sprint backlog . The release backlog is like the road map of the items /stories . these backlogs have a planning meeting prior to their determination. They do not interfere with each other but rather in than order from broad to specific . That’s my little understanding. Hence
Certain questions seems to be repeated, kind suggestion to come up with new set of important questions.Otherwise, the way you explain/handling the questions are extraordinary. Thanks Gautham!👍
Very valuable video with great choice. But, only one confusion related to Q10 where Root-cause analysis in retrospective was selected as a choice. Whereas, in other EduHubSpot Q/A video, it stated by Varun that Root-Cause Analysis is not part of Retrospective. Request your kind clarification pls..
I got right 12 out of 15. I need one clarification on Q:9, why cant impact of Business case can't be discussed with team by PO, as it's collaborating with team right instead of discuss with sponser as it's shy away or kind of escalation right. Thanks
For question 8, isn't the release planning meeting mentioned in ans (D) the same as the sprint planning meeting mentioned in ans (A). And with that in mind, isn't A a better option to D?
In Q11, team already written the goal for upcoming sprint, it means team should have picked up the stories already for next sprint correct. how answer C becomes correct. please clarify
Hi Gautham, Thank you so much for this video.. My Score was 11/15... I got the question Nos. 2,8,9 & 11 wrong... I was little overwhelmed n picked close to correct choices... LOL! But your detailed explanation made me understand the concepts very well and getting strong for my next practice challenges and for Real PMP exam... Thank you so much again.
In Q13, Is it project manager responsibility to explain the stakeholders regarding the project business case or product owner's responsibility. . If it is PO responsibility then PM can help the PO as said in option C. Please kindly clarify
I have the same quesiton regarding Q13. I understood it as the PO role ensure stakeholders, business managers, development teams, etc., align to the project's vision and ensure it meets the company's objective.
Hi Gautham Nice content. I have a query with question 3. Isn't it the job of facilitator to be a time keeper as well. There is a reason meeting in Agile should be timeboxed. IN that regards facilitator has the right to limit questions, so that everyone gets a chance to contribute within limited time.
Thanks Gautham Sir....I got 10 questions right..these were my choices..thanks i will learn from this 1.B 2.A 3.A 4.A 5.B 6.A 7.A 8.D 9.C - When any solutions or innovations if it is effecting the business case - PM must consult with the Project Sponsor because PS create the BC 10.A 11.D 12.B 13.D 14.B 15.D
I'm 13/15. But have a doubt on 11th question. The question says, the team already wrote the goal for the sprint that means they had selected the user stories already. Then how answer C is correct? It should be answer D? Am I misunderstanding the question? Please clarify me...
14 correct 1 wrong Sharing the answers and reason as per my understanding Q1. B: as its new change discuss with PO add it in backlog and prioritize is a perfect agile process Q2. D: as PO is cust representative PO should be easily approachable to the team Q3. A: as team i snot conducting meeting properly PM need to update the team charter neccessary guidelines Q4. C: in retro we discuss all aspects related to sprint how,what,....we gt chance to fix something what went wrong Q5. B: if team revisits the best practice to use of daily stand up they will not discuss everything in detail in stand up Q6. A: so latest iteration done means sprint review done, so next target is next iteration Q7. A: as agile team should be self oragnized PM should guide them for that Q8. D: Release planning gives the visibility of all Q9. C: As sponsor is responsible for business case PM should discuss this with sponser first Q10. A: Checking the root cause is first thing t do here Q11. A: so once team done with the goal i.e n sprint planning it should get reviewed by PO , so that PO can prioritize it Q12. B: creating the user manual along with the PO, as it will go to product backlog and PO will prioritize it Q13. D: as PM will showcase the business case to stakeholder they can understand the value Q14. B: providing the deal line the team do it in time Q15. D: create a project charter is next doc to create and then give to PM, from here PM will come in the picture Thanks for such wonderful video!
