with out a doubt one of the best looking jeeps on the planet.. my next jeep project will pretty much be a copy of this.
nice work
I can't wait to build one of my own! So cool!
Just being a stickler, I love my old willys unadulterated hahaha
So awesome! I hope to build one someday. Love the flattie!
Thanks, go build one you will never regret it. I've been wheeling mine for 16 years and loved every minute of it.
Awesome Willy! I have one in parts, actually a CJ3B, a CJ5 frame + 4,3 Vortec + toy axles with ARBs. Gotta put it together soon, you gave me some much needed inspiration, yours have the right stance.
nice daughter im hoping i have a daughter like that someday
Cool vid...gotta love that a/c
I put my axles over the leafs for simplicity and stability. Nothing like off camber and not having to worry. I used 4" Jeep Wrangler YJ leafs for easy replacement. Lower center of gravity also makes it easier to get in and out of which is mighty handy at my age.
I want one like that to mine offroading stuffs, the KING!
Fantastic Jeep, I love it!
Real nice rig..
Good thing you held it back at 6:06. LMAO
@vjeep8 i totally agree with you , this jeep is realy beautiful
I love that rack setup.
I went to the website for more info on your Willy and it seem's the site is down? I was kinda wondering how much lift you went with and if you did any trimming to get the 37s to fit.
Awesome Jeep! Im trying to do something like that with my WIllys
Manual all the way! Better for steep descents and keeping revs where you want them. It is handy not having to worry about the clutch though.
Where was dad telling her not to ever cross her arms or to keep her fingers out of the wheel?! :p
Hi Jose,
The site was down was down for couple of days but it's back up now. The lift is a 3 inch lift using Wrangler YJ springs. I did do some trimming of the rear fenders but that's it.
i really like your jeep. I'm getting a 55 cj and your jeep is an inspiration.
Sweet jeep!!
thanks! did the yj leafs bolt right in? or do i have to move the brackets?
Willys número uno siiii
Hey man how did you lift it?, i heard most people put the axles under the leafs, i got a 48 cj2a that im about to get running and would like a 5.5, or 6" lift
Are you running an automatic? Does it make it easier than a manual?
Awesome truck though, good job!
Beautiful Jeep. What are the specs?
Perhaps I will come down to scare everyone at the TRJC Father's day Run. I never find the time anymore although it is not for a lack of trying to get there.
I have a question, who made your winch mount and your roll cage? any info would be nice.
It was all custom made. The which plate was a standard Warn plate cut to fit. The cage was custom to fit just above the windshield and sized to fit under a Tiger Top soft top.
Ok, thank you
You might want to check my build site shown at the end of the video. You will see what I started with and that I did not ruin a piece of history.
@sbrodacz Thanks for the compliment I have a spec page listed at the end of the movie along with a dozen or build pages
awesome make more vids!
@pretzel1253
I am driving and only hanging onto the steering wheel. I do believe the trail guide was attempting to prevent the Willys from going ass over tit because the wheelbase is so short. It would not be the first time someone mucked up on the particular piece of rock. Then again it might be his Jeep and I am stealing it or I wasn't going fast enough and he was pushing me of the ledge. Whatever the reason we were all just having fun.
She seamed nervous? First time?
I'm working on it but hard to do when you are driving.
are you from illinois? i think those look like illinois license plates? i grew up in peoria.
+World Traveler东北 I do indeed live in Illinois, Naperville to be exact but wheeling here is pretty much limited to mud and more mud.
I have Intn'l Scout axles so bought all new brackets, u-bolts and skid plates. Check out my build on my web site listed at the end of the video for some pictures
I find running an automatic gives me far more control. It's one less thing to worry about in a tight situation.
What axle ratios are you running?
+Ken MacMillan Dana 44's 5.13 axle ratio with Detroit lockers.
Wow
what seats do u have in that thing?
They are made by a company called Steelhorse. I bought them from Quadratec in the USA about 13 years ago
ok i'll check it out, thanks
Way cool!
the girl needs to learn to take it steady, don't hit the breaks every 6 inches,
Weird way to spell perfected!
Join FLEXIN FLATTIES on fb would love to have yas
You ruined that piece of history.
