Well, the fundamental questions for every Christian here are 1. Have I done a dispassionate thorough research about these individuals running for president (outside public image, hearsays, allegations) with no watertight evidence (not rumours) that I have ignored, even it it affects my preferred one? 2. How many can claim God has shown them who Tinubu truly is and who Obi truly is, beyond the image of themselves they portray to the public or even beyond public service track record? These are biblical steps in knowing man. The understanding you get from the first helps to interpret visions. But we often jump the gun, and lazily or hastily label people, especially when we have sentiments from some church leaders whose interpretive lenses of the prophetic vis-a-vis politics is basically religion, tribe, revolt etc. Remember that even Obi was a product of our sentiment and not conviction because it was when Osinbajo lost his bid that Obi gained traction as protest. And that's how we get into the trap of deception, false expectations and even get desperate that we can almost label anyone who won't vote a particular person, as not spiritual or not a true Christian. Nigerian Church has been rocked by so much emotionalism based on religion and I know too well that emotionalism is a terrible enemy of the prophetic agenda of God. That's why we see many "prophecies" from many highly respected men of God on so easily fall to the ground, not because God attached conditions. Similar happened with EndSARS too and many more. Prejudgement taints interpretation of visions. Beware, God sees not as man sees.

Bcos you didn't recorgnise the sovereignty of God, and how He works, that man has been sitting on the throne till now. God doesn't like being dictated to. If you decide not to pray for him and you are still praying for him to be removed or to die, God can sustain him and still use him to punish you.

Well, the fundamental questions for every Christian here are
1. Have I done a dispassionate thorough research about these individuals running for president (outside public image, hearsays, allegations) with no watertight evidence (not rumours) that I have ignored, even it it affects my preferred one?
2. How many can claim God has shown them who Tinubu truly is and who Obi truly is, beyond the image of themselves they portray to the public or even beyond public service track record?
These are biblical steps in knowing man. The understanding you get from the first helps to interpret visions. But we often jump the gun, and lazily or hastily label people, especially when we have sentiments from some church leaders whose interpretive lenses of the prophetic vis-a-vis politics is basically religion, tribe, revolt etc. Remember that even Obi was a product of our sentiment and not conviction because it was when Osinbajo lost his bid that Obi gained traction as protest. And that's how we get into the trap of deception, false expectations and even get desperate that we can almost label anyone who won't vote a particular person, as not spiritual or not a true Christian. Nigerian Church has been rocked by so much emotionalism based on religion and I know too well that emotionalism is a terrible enemy of the prophetic agenda of God. That's why we see many "prophecies" from many highly respected men of God on so easily fall to the ground, not because God attached conditions. Similar happened with EndSARS too and many more. Prejudgement taints interpretation of visions. Beware, God sees not as man sees.

If you decide not to pray for him and you are still praying for him to be removed or to die, God can sustain him and still use him to punish you.
