  • Mia Mottley, who through her ability to hold a stage with on-point delivery often without reference to notes, totally "calls out" a slightly rude BBC interviewer when he tries to out-flank the Barbadian Prime Minister on the issue of Gay Rights.

This woman is one of the most remarkable leaders we have ever had in the world - she has an extraordinary intelligence, intellect and mastery of expression; she is dignified, humorous, courageous and electrifying to listen to - Barbados, the Caribbean region and indeed the world must be so proud of her - she inspires me immensely.

That was a sneaky question. A mean question. And we all know why. Our Caribbean Civilization recognizes leaders and leadership. Intellect and intellectuals. And those from the society who enslaved us and further implemented colonialism and neocolonialism can never teach us. We will dismiss them!!!! EVERYTIME!!! WELL DONE MIA!!! We have your back!!!

Mia Mottley is capable of holding her ground on the most inappropriate question asked by the BBC interviewer. What an admirable Prime Minister of Barbados.

She never loses. She will never fall in your snares and traps that you have set for her. Much respect. As a person of Barbadian descent I am very proud.

He tried to put her in a awkward sticky situation, her response was priceless!

He attempted to insult her intelligence and just ended up showing his own true colours.

"Is that a question you would ask the United Kingdom?" That right there helps us see the hypocrisy of the West. Thanks Madam PM. Love from a Cameroonian!
