On June 7, 2013, Ryan Leak proposed to his girlfriend. Her dream was to get engaged and married on the same day, and so later on that night... He had planned her surprise dream wedding.
We have always talked about what we want our special day to be about. And for us, we want it to be about something bigger than ourselves. Recently, we were moved by an organization called A21 who fights sex trafficking all over the world. And so the idea for this day was: There's 27 million girls caught in sex slavery, and every single one of them deserves their own dream wedding. And so we asked all of our guest at the wedding to give to A21 instead of getting us traditional wedding presents. Years ago I watched the long version of this wedding. My first thought was wow, she doesn't have to go thru any of those planning ordeals at all, that is one lucky girl! But to find out that the Ryan Leak is the author of the book unoffendable and the man in this video is so God. I am struggling with offense and your husbands book is really helping me. Thank you! this guy came and spoke at my church and he was amazing! he was so kind. and he made so a impact in my life
God is so good to us!! He provides and demonstrates His Love for us, His children, in oh so many ways! So thankful and BLESSED to view this! I’m so thankful Jesus brought Ryan to come preach at my church, in Littleton, Colorado at Red Rocks Church because God knew I and my husband would be encouraged in our own marriage to see this! It also blessed me so much to see Ryan’s dad enjoy your wedding, knowing he is now in Heaven. When Ryan preached at our church the first time I heard him, he told the story of his dad and mother at Walmart...and it made me miss my own Daddy who is now in Heaven also. So it made me so happy to know his parents got to witness this amazing day for his son and daughter in love! Again, I say, GOD IS SO GOOD TO US!! I use to attend Covenant church carrollton in Texas where this man preached. I always remember his father passed away a few years ago and he preached a beautiful message after and talked about how he wishes he could do one more "Walmart " trip with him.
