    Good old natural remedies that has been around for many and many years. These types of infusions really work by keeping the body's immune system at optimal condition. Instead of dates, we can also use natural or raw honey which is a natural antibacterial compound. Yummy!

    • @RockinRobinCooks
      @RockinRobinCooks 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Tony, yes sometimes natural is best especially with viruses. Yes you can sub in honey for a sweetener. Just don't put it in very hot tea. You don't want to destroy the benefits of the honey. Be well.

      If you don't make the paste it will be more difficult to mix in and sweeten the tea.

    Heating lemon kills it’s properties?

    • @RockinRobinCooks
      @RockinRobinCooks 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      According to the Linus Pauling Institute of Science and Medicine, heat will degrade the vitamin C but not immediately. I take that as meaning, make it and drink it up and it will be fine.
