I remember back in middle school two boys were fighting and a female teacher tried breaking it up but she ended up getting punched in the face by accident.
Wouldn't be surprised if those 2 got suspended after that

The little sister her name is “Anais Watterson” and she’s one of those young students who are smart enough to be able to skip a few grades in spite of her age.

I was bullied by both teachers and students until finally I was pulled out and homeschooled.
I switched school 3 different times before that, my dad went to the board of education, and even the police a few times. I even got illegally arrested once but thankfully it wasn’t put on a record.
My mom wanted me to forgive people no matter what and be a punching bag
My grandma wanted me to get help from a teacher (didn’t work)
My dad told me he wanted me to kick people in their privates and keep kicking them until they stopped moving.
He said he’d rather me get expelled then come home in bruises.
I got suspended 3 times for self defense against both students and an abusive teacher.
The school gumball goes to is based on an actual school named Abraham lincoln High School

My grandpa was a bully to specifically bullies when he went to school. If someone was beating up defenseless kids or women, he put them in his place. The principal even made a deal with him to let this happen.

One thing I hate is that when you start a ‘fight’ both the causer and the participant get suspended. Would it just make it easier to suspend the one who started it?
It does work that way sometimes. It depends on the investigation of what happened.

I had a lot of bullies
I have my own experience with bullies. When I was in High School, there were some bullies that would tease and harass people and that included me. I was a strong kid but not the strongest, but did had a moment of having a backbone. From what I remember, the school didn't have good resolution in dealing with bullies that they didn't see themselves. The only time me and my friends were bullied and the bully got caught was at the gym and I reported it first to the Gym Teacher, because they took our basketball when we had it, but didn't do much. I went there to get it but they didn't care until I took the ball when they shot it in the basket, and two guys beat me up for taking my own ball, in which the teacher immediately took the two and they got expelled.
The other time there was a student that I unfortunately had in class with and he does bully sometimes others and myself. He was one of the strongest since he goes to the gym. When I was at the cafeteria, the bully was sitting down backhanded my groin when I was trying to reach my usual seat, and I immediately by impulse put him on the floor (I didn't punch him just put him on the floor). He immediately respected me and never did any of this. The staff were there, but didn't do anything to me because I didn't actually hurt him and they understand why I did it since I don't do fights.
This is my experience with bullies. I did defended myself since there are usually staff that doesn't care or don't know how to resolve it properly so that the bully doesn't enact revenge and bully the victim again. My position is that fighting is to be avoided unless you have no other option. I understand your position as a Principal as I would trust you would handle your job well. I simply handled it when the teachers and staff don't really resolve it well or simply didn't take the energy to stop it. I did get some bullies that stopped bullying and respected me from defending myself, though it is better to not fight when there are many options.
I hope you enjoy my comment/tale, School Principal. This all happened when Anti-Bullying was still somewhat archaic in the early 2010's in my high school life.
Edit: If you watch the show, the mother is named Nicole Watterson. She is not afraid of much since she is known for her skills in fighting and her violent rage, which is why the family including Gumball's father is deathly afraid of angering her. Most characters are afraid of her as she can fight a T-Rex, violent prisoners, etc.

A lot of kids are afraid to report bullying(snitching) so they end up bailing and just dealing it with it all year scared for their lives.
I think it's better if the school kept bullying reporting anonymous and make the sure the bully and victim never meet when the victim reports the bully. After the victim reports the bully, the parents of the bully get a call. The bully gets suspended for a few days/gets called in privately. If the bully and victim ever meet after the victim snitches(let's say the bully figures who probably did it) - it puts the victim in a much worse spot as the bully will take their problems out on the victim.
Yes. We try and keep it anonymous but it’s sometimes difficult to do so, or the bully eventually figures it out if they’re only bullying one person. I don’t disagree with you.
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Its definetly a big issue if they know where the other lives. If they are on different buses/rides its not so much ot an issue. Personally, at school the bullying was just derogatory comments or teasing that was always passed off as "humor". That kind of bullying is always overlooked to me.
This one time there was bullying on the bus, the entire bus got called in the next day with video footage.

It's funny how in bully episodes in TV shows, maybe mostly in cartoons, stereotypically the dads tell their kids to fight back and the moms would say talk it out or tell someone. The Simpsons had a similar episode in season one where Bart was being bullied by Nelson.
I remember on my 2nd day of 8th grade at a new school i saw a student running from a teacher, and then the student punched the teacher in the stomach and had to be tackled by the guard 🫢
Fun fact this was the last episode of season 1 Where Lewis MacLeod voiced Mr. Small, Ms. Simian and Rocky before he left the show for unknown reasons. and I'm not sure how Principal Brown (who MacLeod also voiced before his departure) would have reacted to Gumball and Tina fighting each other because Brown was not very friendly during the first season. There was one episode where he gave Gumball a seven hour detention because he mistook an insult he made to be directed at him, (I'm not sure how that would translate to a real life detention since I never had it myself when I was in school) also Rocky is the orange lunchroom guy's name and the banana is Banana Joe.
In junior high 2 guys at the same lunch table right next to me had some issue with one another. A brief 5 second argument and one shoved the other onto the ground off the lunch bench. One of the assistant principals who always overlooks the cafeteria on the stairs witnessed it. All it took was a “Hey! You two!”They immediately stopped and walked away with the assistant principal. I shivered and I wasn’t in trouble.
Yeah the school in this show is based on an actual real high school located in Vallejo, California, as well Gumball’s house and all the realistic backgrounds, buildings. There all photographs.

I was once bullied by my Spanish teacher in 2nd grade; Often calling me a "stupid child" (Keep in mind I had undiagnosed autism) and kept failing my assignments. My mom decided to chaperone to see what was going on and saw her literally tearing away my assignments and trashing them. My mom checked the paper and saw that she gave me an 'F' while all the answers were right. Afterwards, My mom reported her to the main office and turned out she has a history of abusing students and was finally fired. The new teacher was much kinder and I didn't have any more problems and passed my assignments.

Finally get getting into a Gumball episode from S1. If you compare it to your previous reactions, you'll see that S1 has a notably different art style.
And so you see Gumballs 4 year old sister Anais (Ann eye EES, despite some saying uh NYE is). Don't let that age fool you, she's actually a grade above him. You did see her in that first Grades one where he went back to Kindergarten, though she sounds quite different then in S5 compared to the first, here. Across the 8-10 year run of the show, Gumball and Darwin each had 4 actors, but Anais only had one.
His dad appeared at the start of the fake diploma one, when he put their clothes in the dishwasher and the boys tried drawing them on.
The school counselor would be Mr Small, kind of a hippie. Some of his S1 instances include The Sock where he tried teaching the boys honesty, and The Painting where he tried helping with their destructive energy.
The lanky blue cyclops here is actually Rob who guised as a superintendent in The Inquisition.
I heard a T-rex is about 2 stories tall.
Tina is also a she.
There is a swim team here as seen in The Club and The Agent.

Gumballs mom Nicole has many iconic moments, and the rate you're watching, this a very nice starter. XD
On your subject of regarding neither side seeing the harsh treatment as bullying, I did see a fanfic where the comic relief character, got pretty injured after one minor prank his friends tend to do, and this one probably shouldn't have had such an excessive result as it did, it was mostly a result of how many bigger ones before impaired his awareness, and now minor ones could spook him just as much. His friends vowing to do better, even he doesn't think he can forgive all their actions

Let’s see here.. Bullies. A good way to deal with them is to understand what they are doing and how they bother you. You should then talk to a counselor telling them exactly how the bully is bothering you. Make sure to say the B word clearly. (Bullying)

Can you give one piece episode 2 a chance? I promise the episodes and animation get better. Some of the bad guys are strange but I started watching it a few years ago and I am 40 going on 41 in a few months.

19:42 you know what you just said can you remind me of an episode from Yellowstone where a teacher was trying to stop a fight and one of the people fighting accidentally knocked her over making her hit her head on concrete causing her and I have a few problems throughout the series, I think Yellowstone might be an interesting thing for you to watch on your channel it’s not mostly school related but there are a few episodes where one of the main characters becomes the teacher.

Yes. And I realize that not all schools do a good job in this area, but just as many other schools do. If a teacher outright ignored a fight and allowed someone to get hurt intentionally yes they would be fired or received disciplinary action.
