You could have warned in the beginning which team you wanted to sacrifice

You don't need to sacrifice your 2nd team at the end. If you send both through the portal, grab the chest, then send both through the final portal in the same turn, the team you send through 2nd will be in the boss range and get you to the boss fight.

I accidentally lured the gunner troops into the teleporter and I was clear to take out the boss

How did you even lure the troops as immovable as a mountain, and on top of that, into the teleporter

@@SuggonM They only move if you are in range of attack in their next turn. When I tried moving towards the teleporter, I was one square away from it, and that one square in front of me was the teleporter point and that is the block they moved on as they tried attacking me since I was in attack range.
