हम लोग: भारत रत्न के लिए आधार तय करना जरूरी- ओवैसी

एआईएमआईएम के प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने एडीटीवी के कार्यक्रम हम लोग पर कहा कि आज जिस तरह से लोगों को भारत रत्न दिया जा रहा है वह गलत है. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत रत्न देने को लेकर आधार तय करना जरूरी है. अगर सिर्फ किसी पार्टी के करीबी होने या उसके लिए काम करने के आधार पर यह दिया जाता रहा तो यह सही नहीं होगा. ओवैसी ने कहा कि भारत रत्न किसी दिए जाए इसके लिए एक ऐसी कमेटी बनाई जाए जो ऐसे लोगों को चुने जो इस देश की विविधता के आधार पर लोगों का चुनाव होना चाहिए.
