What did you hope for from another series? The story was complete and almost every loose end tied up. Nick finally told her Dad where to go, she got immunity from prosecution for her bad deeds, the Harbaughs were sent to prison and the Thompsons took Nick back in. Told me everything I want to know, so I just watch the 20 episodes round and round on Netflix. I appreciate what we got.

I was shocked but then she is a tough girl who can fight, and Jeremy is a rich boy with sheltered life, so it kind of makes sense she could beat him up.
Because she was the real victim in all of this: she's a kid and her foster parents Sam and Dorothy trained her up to be a con artist. Ever since her Dad went to prison she has been forced to lie, cheat and steal in order to just survive. She can't be held responsible for all of that because she's been let down by all of those adults. In the end, the Thompsons feel that the Harbaughs are the real villains, rather than Nick: that's why they call the police on the Harbaughs and protect Nick. The Thompsons are impressed when Nick says at the end that she doesn't have to be the person that the Harbaughs made her. The Thompsons realise that they love Nick and that everyone else has let her down, so they take her back.
