whoa, they charge 300 bucks for this plastic box with only 7 channels and without voice telemetry? I like some of the hardware design ideas, especially the LED strip but overall it looks very cheaply made. Build looks comparable to a Radiomaster Pocket, which blows it out of the water feature-wise, for 60 bucks. But I guess people like the programming and the selection of bind-and-fly models at horizon which makes them get away with it.
Ya I think you're right, buying into the hugely supported brand and buy-in to the BNF world. I personally am moving to FrSky myself, my X20s I feel out performs the ix20 for less money than my NX10SE. That said, the Nx7e seems decent, but yes, $199 should be the pricepoint. The Dx6e was $149.99 just a year or two ago (now 249.99)
Ya depends what your mission is, this one is for my kiddo who likes the BNF stuff, but you are right, I recently transitioned to FrSky and loving it so far (X20s)
The NX8 will add a channel of course, voice alerts, diversity antenna, and a slightly larger screen, here in the US its about $100 price difference, so it boils down to are the added items needed! I fly with an NX10SE and love it personally

Spektrum need to seriously up their game regarding product design. This thing just looks awful.
Going to be interesting too see the adoption of this, I agree people are either going to love it or hate it haha
just buy a tx16s
nice looking radio tho

@@BatworxAeroradiomaster radios work with BNFs. You can even do forward programming with radiomaster radios like the tx16s.
Thanks for sharing you got my sub friend 🤙
Thanks my friend!
Thx for your Review. What do you recommend to buy, the NX7e or the NX8? And Why? There is actually no big price difference in Europe

My 9year OLD loves his tx16s 😂
Nice! What's he flying?
@@BatworxAero arrows prodigy i got my nx7e nice radio one thing i notice was the beep not loud enough over all good radio
I’m looking for an upgraded radio for my Blade 230S, would this hook up to it without changing receivers ya think?
Yep! This will bind right up to the 230S :)
@@BatworxAero that’s all I needed to know! Off to the internet I go to purchase !
The built in BNF models make creating models so easy too@@evinsprague
Seriously - WHY? would they put the neck strap balancer IN FRONT of the screen?
Yes…. That’s silly. AND the specialty ‘key’ needed to open the battery door
@@BatworxAero The specialty key would be a no for me already since i know id lose or forget to bring it on the daily
I legit already lost it lmao@@P.Trick93
Actually I JUST found they have a singular neck strap hook that quickly replaces the screen covering variant
Even more stupid then. Surely one of the brainiacs at @Horizonhobby noticed that it was a little bit annoying?
One question...Voice alerts or beeping alerts?
No voice alerts in this one, just beeps and haptic
More overpriced horizon trash.
Pretty affordable in this day in age, but ya I feel like this should be in the 229-249 price point
@@BatworxAero not even at 200 is this thing worth it.
@@jeremykg1569 ya this definitely not for you then
@@BatworxAero influencer speak?
@@weseehowcommiegoogleis3770 hardly! Im a nobody who like the hobby haha
