    One of the important aspects of any language is how to greet people in a way that's friendly and respectful. In this video, we'll teach you the most common Swahili greetings that you can use in different situations and with different people.
    Starting with the basic "Habari?" which means "What's up?" to the more formal "Shikamoo" which is used to show respect to elders, this video covers a range of Swahili greetings that you can use in everyday conversations.

    Asante sana. I'm going to dar in a few days after not being there for 12 years. Have forgotten so much kiswahili, needed brush up on the basic greetings! This was most useful

    Habari gani? - Is it the same as how are you?

      Yes, it means the same thing as How are you? So you can interchange this greeting with HABARI YAKO = How are you
