I’m did a job last year to remove a sagging ceiling and 5.5 x 4m and my price is $4000. I’ve seen guys posting on social media marketplace they can do it for $1000 of less. When you have skip hire or tip fees, insurance, running costs, quoting the job, delivery of materials that’s about $1000.
I'm on my second Makita drywall saw. Sadly they have a brushed motor, working in the dustiest environment on earth. The motor died & bought a replacement saw. Luckily Total Tools sold me (order in) a new motor so I can repair the old saw. P. S, yours is making the same squeak noise mine started doing a few months before it died.
Yeah this is my second one, someone took my first one. Yeah actually you totally right, lol these are used in the harshest most dusty environments on earth, I should probably connect my vacuum I think could save it. You are right, I thought I lost her there for a minute but it pulled through. You will know next week if mine has died as I need it on Friday.
If you wash that clear plastic cover out at the end of the day and let it dry, it’s great next time you use it. It has to be totally dry though. And when you wash it out, hit it with water with force to get all that now mud/dust out.
Hi Max mesh tape is okay as long as you bed it in with setting plaster and not just sticking mesh straight onto plaster board, but fibre fuse is superior to mesh . would charge $1000 per room give or take a little?
Yeah true, I've seen guys just stick it on first.. Never looks ok.... 1000 that's too cheap I think. Well I know it's too cheap. Wasn't easy to take down. I originally used the drywall cutter to chop up the ceiling but it just broke off in small bits and the insulation was so bad
@@jonesconrad1 There’s a few different types of mesh tape. The one that was removed from the ceiling is “easy tape” for plasterboard. Also the ceiling has to be back blocked.
We have the same makita tool belt. I love my makita drywall cutter too. Saved me replacing the cornice
I need to get a suspender on mine. Yeah I live the drywall cutter... Thanks for watching bro hope your doing well!!

Mesh tape is for full plastering, not drywall.

What a shite of a room. Ceiling fixers nightmare.
Why is it being replaced?
Yeah it's like triple the cornice cutting and finishing. Like a bunch of externals I have to put lipstick on
