- Since the November 15th patch for BF1 changed the BAR somewhat I figured it would be better to offload what I had recorded prior to the patch to use as a comparison for later videos that include the BAR.
From the Nov 15th patch notes:

I didn't like the mortar nerf either. Mortar spam was not an issue on PS4 (it could've been on PC I don't know). However it was a tactical piece of equipment that would help your team clear objectives when conventional pushing wouldn't work. Now they are pretty useless in my opinion

Stream chat can be distracting at times. I think if I had one of those monitor arm things that would let me position the streaming PC's monitor above or closer to my gaming PC's monitor it would be easier for me to watch both instead of having to stop in corners or go prone and read chat.
Why are they nerfing the BAR? That and mortars are the only reasons Support is even usable.
Stroke the Forge They buffed most of the MG's anyway. Plus the BAR outclassed most of MG's, it's only shortcoming is the ammo count
dancecrew1996 Try out the Madsen, it's ttk is pretty nice, plus it had 10 more rounds than the BAR.
I don't even notice the nerf that badly, it's still a great gun to use!
I feel like the accuracy buff all the LMG's got offsets the increased recoil on the BAR reasonably well. It seems slightly better to me at longer ranges then pre patch
Really? You sure those are the only reasons Support is usable? DICE seems to be a-okay with the near instant grenade reload/spam so you can still use the Support class for that :)

They didn't actually really "nerf" the bar in the most recent update. It did receive a slight increase to horizontal recoil but they also increased it's accuracy as well. With the storm variant you should have a better all around weapon than before.

I like when gun looks good, sounds good (im not talking about those crazy skins like in COD or BFH) and with some skins iron sights are more visible.
Mad Chaos which colors makes iron sights more visible? Never tried anything else but functional skins in camo appearance.
Those silver ones are best. Maby not on all maps. Curently i have only Brusilov skin for Autoloading and for me its better for darker maps like Argon

I hope they add a drum mag for the BAR. Even though they didn't make drum mags for it in real life. Same with the telescopic scope, John Browning and company never made scopes for it. So we might see a drum mag that Dice "invents" lol

Well a reasonable nerf. But why are you using the telescopic variant and not the AA sights with the benefit of the hipfire/reduced recoil?

Ravic setup a keyboard cam so we can see how u are moving your mouse, what keys your pressing etc...
Have you found a optimization / settings guide already and changes your settings? If so, would you mind sharing a link or your video settings?
If you're looking for more fps just set everything to low and mesh to High or Ultra.
Yeah, did that already. Just wanted to ask since you were asking for a performance guide like that one from BF3 a couple videos ago. You mentioned that lowering the settings would apparently make more of a difference than in BF4 for example, was just curious about a more detailed report about which settings change what exactly in BF1 now.
jackfrags did a pretty good one a few weeks ago.
The main thing I was looking for was a rough estimate of frames for each setting and level of that setting which that write up on Nvidia showed. Didn't find one so I just went through all the settings myself to identify what they did and how much they affected fps.

TheChinaMan 25 It isn't that the BAR is op, it's that almost every other LMG sucks.
Side note: Post patch Operations fucking SUCKS! DICE gave the attacking team 5x more of a chance to win. 3 battalions, 250 tickets, 2 behemoths, and it takes less time to capture the objectives. It's fucking chaos and have the defending team NEVER PLAYS THE OBJECTIVE. I am literally going to quit every match where I have to defend from now on. My first match of post patch Operations consisted of 3/4 of my team behind the objectives and in deployment fucking SNIPING. I HATE IT

JaySTEEZ yeah man I've had that main issue is team mates that don't ptfo and that don't use the behemoths right. I'm always on the losing team no matter what game mode and there's only so much 1 person can do

YEP! They never played the objective before, and then they complained a bunch, and now made it even harder to win. I got in many games where we smashed the team, but the vast majority of games I join are full of back cap snipers

Im pretty sure they are, the fact that the video looks good is because :Added sharpness and color corection through the video edititing.Also i bet he prefers performance over quality during gaming.

Even if he uses 1500dpi then the sensitivity will be less.Pro players usually post their cm/360.The rest is just pure guess from experience.But im pretty sure i got them all right.It will be good of Ravic says something about it tho.
how do even find that many enemies to kill. I can only get about 5 kills and die all the time.

A shame they didn't rectify the Melee, don't think i've actually killed one person. Give them a whack just for them to do me over in one blow.
On a side note what settings do you have your Mini Map at Ravic? Looks to be a good balance.
you have to hurt them first to get one hit takedown
you have to get them from behind to do a take down, otherwise its just poking them for ~30 damage
Certain weapons will deal different amount of damage and to do a ohko the HP of your enemy has to be equal to or less than your weapons damage, or they are prone or have their back facing you.
Hey ravic i've got a question for you. why do you play without the colored kill hitmarker or headshot hitmarker?
I have the headshot hitmarker set to red.
Looks like this thing has some really good accuracy while going full auto and strafing.

BAR is still one of best support guns, i can deal with the 20 bullet mag

Aww I see. You are referring to the "flashy", "oooo pretty" aim. No that isn't what I'm doing but I doubt you'd notice the difference. Also side note there is a reason the top EU players and teams that actually win leagues and tournaments do not play with high sensitivity in that way. But hey so long as your aim looks cool and catches the eye it doesn't matter if you don't win right??
For anyone taking this comment seriously and new to Battlefield I do not recommend imitating that playstyle because as other EU and competitive players have pointed out it comes with drawbacks that will handicap your in-game capabilities.
