- I had 2 hours to fish yesterday. I caught 6 trout and 2 flounders all lived to see another day. As you can tell they weren't biting I can always tell when they come straight off the hook onto the floor. My thoughts are you aggravate them enough and they'll hit it even if they don't want to eat it. I had to roll back to Covington to work until dark to finish up one project. I hope to make a few more trips out in the next few weeks to come.

I already have my mother living with me. Now I’m trying to get his place setup to handle both of them and still have privacy for everyone. That’s the goal in sight. He wanted me to do this a few years back but I seen no need now. I get it I should’ve done it then and had more time but I’ll have it done sooner than later. Thanks for the prayers Jarett.

Welcome back. It's been a while. Glad you could get out.
My mother died last October from Alzheimer's. She was 95 years old. My wife and I looked after her for 3 1/2 years. We're feeling a kind of empty nest syndrome but happy she's no longer confused or afraid.

My brother and I were just talking about you haven't posted a video in a while, and here you go! Wednesday was a tough day, but we ended with 19 trout & 5 flounder. And it was definitely some work to get those!
Nice 👍🏻 that’s why I like to fish with someone else and try different colors. I wasted probably 30-45 minutes messing with colors until I put the right color on. But it was still nice to get out and my boat needed to be ran.

Almost had a limit with the new rules. Haha. Nice to see you making a trip. Trust me, i know how it feels to be off the water. It was over 8 years I couldn't fish with doing all my daddy duties. Always told myself i wouldn't let that happen but, well, things happen. Prayers for your dad.

Thanks hopefully he’ll be able to recover quickly. I was wondering if they ate a line up after I left 😆. That would be my luck but I seen everyone running around I knew everyone was struggling. Definitely felt good to be back on the water
@@Laproduceman I hung out until 2pm but it looked like everyone was leaving. I threw everything I had in the box. I even had the swamp lures with me. The only thing I caught on was the matrix green hornet

Good to see ya back tossing Swamp Lures at dem Trassels!!Been praying for your dad and hope you doo get his house ready for him.Unless he has moved,I have a few cousins that live not far from him,in fact one of my cousins lives real close to him.Have heard reports of fish being nabbed at the Trestles and Kerry and I should be out there next Th,weather permitting.Think I mentioned to ya bout losing my I-Phone in T-Funky about two weeks ago and I lost a ton of contacts!!Tell your dad we are pulling for him and hope he does eventually get back to his house.

glad to see you’re back on the water more importantly, sad to hear about your father. when my sperm donor dad passed away last year. It was no big deal because he wasn’t a good man and I don’t know your father, but I know he must be worth something or you wouldn’t do what you do for him. Enjoy the time you have. They’ll always be time for tight lines later.🙏🏻
He taught me tough love but I wouldn’t change a thing. My grandfather my dad’s father taught me how to work hard for what I wanted. I’ll be back in a few months hitting the fish hard again.
Kerry and I tried our luck yesterday and I sent Dave R a pic of at least 20 boats stretched out from just a tad S of the Drawbridge all the way probably to almost S side AND the wind forecast was totally inaccurate,had strong SSW wind vs straight N wind that was predicted.Gonna check both my schedule and tide and wind predictions to plan next trip.
