My dad was a brickie for 30 years. So proud of him.
A brickie sounds like an insult

Yo, that guy could walk up on my job ANY DAY if he’s just gonna start working like that 😂
There will never be a better banter than "I was doing ______ before you were f*cking born."
You know he's skilled when he flips something.
We need more men that are proud to learn and work the trades. Salute to that absolute legend!
Sadly our economic system punishes anyone that’s not a banker, a lawyer or a landlord….
It’s almost as if guilds and unions were a good thing for tradesmen.
When you’re retired, decided to take a walk and happen to come across someone performing something he’s skilled at.
Step aside and humor him. You’ll learn so much in that short time for free. Plus, the potential to create a wonderful friendship.
Priceless, learning from an elder.
It's sad how often some people and kids especially nowadays disregard their elders knowledge and advice.
fact
Plus you can take a break and the wall still gets built!
A man that knows how important is working on bricks.
I don’t think y’all truly understand what this man did and made it look effortless.
Walked up talking shit , all while doing trowel flips, this man was analyzing which brick was next , what side is facing out, and put exactly the right amount of mud. Bravo sir bravo👏
Y'all? Wth is that (as its not in the British vernacular)?
