    *💗What's YOUR favorite setting powder?💗*

Stephanie Marie I love Lancôme products but I have never tried their setting powder. I trust your opinions and will definitely try it when my current favourite is out (which is the loose “It Cosmetics”) Oh, I also ordered one of your favourite concealers, Too Faced, and can’t wait I to try it!

NYC loose finishing powder is still sold in Canada & it’s my favourite. No scent, super finely milled and never ever goes cakey! And 5-6$ Canadian

I like Chanel loose powder for the mattifying quality it gives my shiny forehead and poreous nose, and I love the Hourglass loose powder to give my cheeks a glow and to set my undereye area.

I also love the No7 powder. And just a note for people... when you opened the lid there was a ton of powder sitting on top. That could scare people away from this powder because they could think it would be really messy. But it comes with a puff that sits in the recess where the powder comes out. If you leave that puff in the packaging it keeps the powder from coming out of the holes and gathering on the top. In fact I store mine in a drawer on its side, with the puff in place and have no issues with powder pooling at the top...

I am oily combination and Bare Minerals is my favorite. I haven't tried the peach perfect yet but I plan to. Really I need to try all the powders. I do have the number 7 powder. I got it after you suggested it. And I really do like it. Have a great day....🎄❌✖❌

I'm 42 and I've never liked how powders look on me even when I was in my 20s. Recently, I've been setting my under eyes with the IT powder and I bought the Becca be a light palette and looooove it, I use all the powders and I don't look overdone.
Thanks for this video, I love all your videos.

I am so glad you did this !!!!!! YES !!! I have used so many. ! Lately I have been using Cody Airspun and to be honest, I really like it. I don’t really set my face a lot. Just a little. I have too many lines. Ok, wrinkles. Ha ha. I’m over 50. Can’t wait to see this

Funny, I recently did the same, bought this and love it! My other I love is LaMer! So I don't buy the Coty bc it's cheap-it is just really good!!!!

My favourite is the RCMA No Color Powder. I also like Guerlain Les Méteorites pressed. I'd love to try Laura Mercier but I have acne-prone skin (I'm 40) and it contains cornstarch, so it's a big NO and the Mabelline loose powder, but it's not available here in the UK... xXx

My favorite powder is the original Laura Mercier powder mixed with the LM Glow powder. I hated the original one but wanted to finish it and I got some sample sizes of the Glow powder and now I love it. Not too drying and not too glowing.

I own three of your faves: No 7, CT (had to buy it before Christmas lol) and the Mineral Veil. I only use the veil on my face & not under eyes... you described it perfectly.. a beautiful airbrushed finish. I love the CT; the sleek compact was perfect in my small clutch that I took with me to a wedding. It’s a luxurious setting powder. No 7 works great too. I guess I’ll “need” to try the Lancôme next lol. Everyone raves about it! 😉 💕

This is the first video of yours that I've seen, and it was fun to hear your list. I've been a Bare Minerals gal for probably 15 yrs, and I ADORE the Mineral Veil. Your description of Mineral Veil was perfect, I too love the defused look it gives. I've heard lots of raves re: Too Faced Peach Powder, and the Tilbury sounds delicious (but it's pricy). Thanks for explaining the difference between the two different Too Faced powders, really helpful! I look forward to checking out more of your content. Thank you!

I bought a compact powder last year from an italian brand called Naj Oleari. It’s my go to powder for setting under the eyes. Never tried anything more from the brand but I would love to see more of it on TH-cam cause I haven’t seen much about it here. For the rest of the face I go with Rimmel Stay Matte or KVD depending on the finish I want. Would love to try Charlotte Tilbury but it’s way out of my league 😁

I looove my Mineral Veil and have loved it since 2003. However, one powder I cannot be without for my VERY oily skin is Maybelline Fit Me loose. I set under my eyes with this (I use a velour puff) and the rest of my face. I will be 47 in about 3 weeks and adore this powder. I am definitely going to look into the Lancome powder.

All Over Face Matte: *La Prairie Cellular Treatment Loose Powder*
All over Face Luminous:. *Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Natural Lighting Powder*
Under Eyes: *Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish*
You pay a lot up front for the La Prairie, but you get such a boat load PLUS a fantastic travel size compact full of product and it equals out to around the same price as the Laura Mercier per gram in the end sooo I think it is worth it for such a BEAUTIFUL powder. I would love love LOVE to try that luminous powder Lancôme Absolue Peche that Jaclyn Hill raves about, but it neither sells in Canada, nor can I find a retailer than will ship it here 🙄 Oh first world problems, if only we could all be so lucky! Damn it! I hate when I catch myself complaining so hard or truly upset and ranting about such a stupid problem. And then I remind myself how blessed we are, when our biggest problems are not being able to get our hands on the makeup we want. I mean really, I'm too much!

  • @keepmari

i decided to change it up when buying a new setting powder and asked my mom what she uses instead of buying whatever the internet was buzzing about. she recommended the Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish loose powder and hoooooly smokes it's beautiful. turns out sometimes mom really does know best! it's the only powder i use to set my under eye area that doesn't make me look ten years older than i am.

keepmari Yep. This is my HG. I have a love affair with it, though fleeting because I’ve only purchased it twice and used it well over a year each time.
The Too Faced Ethereal and Primed & Poreless compact are solid runner up’s.

An important thing to note is that the *Chanel SEEMS pricey, but it actually has a FULL 1 oz* for $52. Compared to her favorite, the Lancome, which is $37 for .52oz, the *Chanel is actually much less per oz.* The Lancome would cost approx $72 for the same amount of product!

Not to mention that like attracts like so you get the wonderful Stephanie Marie and the rest of the S to T family.
I love this video ...I’ve been using Huda to bake under my eyes and it seems to be doing OK ... there are days when it can get really Chuckie so it can be hit or miss as A overall powder although I just ordered the hourglass ambient as I hear it’s beautiful for skin over 40 and brightening under the eyes... and you miss Stephanie I’m ordering the Nars lipstick you have on it is outstanding it looks like a combination of the best coral, pink and rose combined on your lips 👄

I’ve been using the Too Face peach powder for this las these, previously I used Laura Mercer and the Becca Hydra Mist... I was looking for a new powder to try and I think I’m going to grab the Too Face Ethereal or maybe the Charlotte Tilbury. Do you like the Too Faced Primed and Poreless pressed powder? Have you tried it - how do you think it compares to this list? That's been my go to finishing powder (using Peach Perfect as setting, but I have large pores on my nose that the TF PP pressed can hide for a little while). I think these 2 do an ok job but that neither lasts me very long, maybe an hour or 2. I'm waiting to use up the PP I have (lasts forever!) and then I'd like to try the Lancome! I'm exited to have something else picked out.

I found an old Bareminerals veil , and when I say old I mean years old; lol, but it was never opened so I have been using it and it reminded me how much I like it. I have been trying to decide between that and the Lancôme! Now I am really undecided and am thinking maybe I should try the ethereal! I saw you used a Chanel Velvet foundation, is that a good one for oily skin? Can you recommend a foundation powder to set makeup with? “I could hug it (Lancôme powder).” 🤣😂 The ones that I reach for most seem to be Dermablend and Laura Mercier. I don’t put any powder under my eyes though. I wish I could, given the rest of my face is so oily, but powder seems to exaggerate my under-eye area wrinkles and make them look and feel dry, so not a good look! 🙈 I need to try Lancôme’s powder, stat!!

Hi Stephanie, Have you ever tried Cle de Pau and By Terry powder?
I used to use CdP but they stopped selling it and I found out later that it was being repacked to a smaller size, more in cost and has a pink sheen to it and you can't purchase refills, so the cost was more. I gave up and finally discovered By Terry powder.

I’m 44 and my skin is v similar to yours, so I’m always interested in your opinions on products! I’ve wondered about these two. The best I’ve ever found yet is the Charlotte Tilbury one - so beautiful!

I tend not to go the powder route, due to my very dry skin. To think, in my teens, 20s, and even 30s, I was a total oil slick. Anyway, in the summer months, I'll use the Hourglass loose setting powder. I tried the Laura Mercier glow powder, but it was a bit over the top for me. Thanks, Stephanie. Going to check to see what your Advent calendars reveal tonight! 💞😘

But no this vid did not help LOL b/c I had my selection down to Peach Perfect and CT and now I have to put the Lancom on my to buy list. I have dry skin and dark circles so if u had to pick one for me what wud it be?
