Sherwood forest September 2024 family vlog with a lodge tour of Maple 10.

We stayed in Maple 10, a 3-bedroom, executive-style lodge with a sauna and en-suite rooms. The lodge was spotless, but there was a strong damp smell in the double bedroom, likely due to the sauna located behind it. We opened the window, which helped.
The back patio was fantastic-very private, with plenty of wildlife. The highlight for us was the cheeky squirrels, which made the kids' day. They spent hours throughout the week feeding them bird seed and monkey nuts.
The weather was a bit unpredictable, but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. We went swimming, cycling, played foot golf, took walks, and even had a game of bowling and ate at the pancake house.
The pool was a bit of a letdown compared to Whinfell, but the kids' area was fantastic. There was so much for them to do, and having a Starbucks right next to it was a nice bonus.
The aqua sana was superb, me and mum had such a relaxing few hours there would 100% recommend a visit there.
Overall, it was a lovely mid-week break, full of great memories.
