That is a brilliant idea. This being my second time that I change it, and knowing how much work is involved to remove the whole dash, I was ready to cut the firewall open when I did one more TH-cam search and found your video. I could not put it at the same place as you did because the harness wouldn’t reach. However, I cut it underneath the ductwork, and it worked extremely well. I was able to put four tiny screws in the corners and I used silicone instead of a two-way tape, which should hold it in place really well. Thank you for the genius idea. Cheers…
How’s it been holding up after a year and a half? My fan started working only intermittently and then after a few weeks it stopped for good. Gonna replace my blower motor and the resistor (just about the same price for both of them, rather than just the resistor… they’re crazy expensive) and I’m thinking of relocating it too because it’s a pain to get out of the back against the firewall.
@@Distriived which way did you come from to get to it? Were you able to reach under the glovebox and get to it? I'm not seeing how the harness is accessible but maybe I just need to keep pulling more stuff out

What was your a/c doing/ not doing? Just trying to figure out if that’s what I need to do to mine
The fan quit. This module controls the fan. It was bad
Any one can help me please my 2011 ford 250 the ac doesn’t work at all any one had the same problem
It doesnt need to go in the case. No need for hole. Could have secured it anywhere away from glove box
I zip tied mine up under the dash and it did not work for long, it overheats. Cut a hole like he did and installed it no problems now.
