Hi, one question, why are you using a 12 volts power suply if setepper motors are 5 volts? Great video

@@SaptarshiSikder As doc says, "The driver requires a logic supply voltage (3 - 5.5 V) to be connected across the VDD and GND pins and a motor supply voltage (8 - 35 V)" . If I put 12v for the motor suply, can I damage them?where can I find the motor specifications

Those are just jumpers that connect the pins together... different configurations change micro stepping options depending on stepper motor chip installed above the jumper this one is using A4988 driver but they have nicer ones if u have better motor like a nema

@@Milos_Animes you have to control the current from that A4988 motor driver, rotate that micro potentiometer on motor driver and measure the current

I did the same thing you did and I bought the laser from the site but it doesn't work just lights up.. I Tired with mdf put it also don't work....and the motors don't move just hot and beeping
In my case, I still haven't bought the laser, but my motors aren't working either, the drive heats up, but nothing works.

You have to know which port your arduino is connected to, normally in the software it appears Com 1, if you click on it, another port will appear, com 2, it must be your arduino connects

We can engraver on paper
No only Engrave in MDF board because the Laser is not enough powerfull if u use 500 mw laser then it engrave paper plastic etc

I think you have to adjust it, in front of the laser there is a disk and you turn it to focus
