Hi, Jay! The morning after the OST was released, I already made my own version of the song. My main problem with Thai songs being translated to English is that they usually try to fit words that don't fit the syllabication, but your version did a pretty good job avoiding that. I'm happy to hear that while you changed some of the original lyrics from the Thai version, it still suited the vibe of the song. I've written Your Smile by Scrubb and Our Song by Nanon, but I was never a singer and I couldn't find anyone who could do the cover to the translations I wrote. I appreciate how you retained the original syllabic count of the song. While I have yet to release my version, I'm genuinely impressed by your creativity when you seamlessly plugged in a new set of words that gave the song more depth. But anyway, I hope people give you credit for that. By the time I find my singer, I'll use my own piece as well. But congratulations to you, I think it's safe to say some lines are really heartfelt. It kinda captured the heart of the song more than the original lyrics (no offense). Still a masterpiece. 🥰

I am also bothered when im trying to make an english translation of the song but the translation can’t fit the syllabication of the stanzas, so i just rewrite it and make it as similar as the message of the song or the story of the show, otherwise it would sound weird and would be hard to listen to. I made my as close to the original lyrics...it also fits the same count, but looking at your version, the chorus really fits it more! May ibang atake yung ilang words kasi it resembles the same vowels when it hits the note! 🥰 I'm happy to hear this though! I really like your cover/translation of this song. I always find the English subtitles for Thai songs read more like poetry. The words are pretty & make sense, but the flow of words don’t read like a song. You managed to translate the intention & emotion of the original lyrics into English words that make more sense as a song that you sang very well. I really liked your use of day & night since it fits what Day is going through losing his sight & they are character names and actually using the name of the song Last Twilight. The lyric about painting their face/image was probably my favorite though.
