Honey Hill, is a great name for this free National Forest campground . It is a nice, airy, cozy, yet open enough, nicely spaced sites, and it was clean and tidy, (except for the campsite, where the people forgot to carry out, THEIR TRASH, they carried in) yup, some people.... : ( Too bad you werent able to go up the fire tower! Thanks Lou Nice video vicky
Thank you for showing us this as we are looking at shipping our van over and will be looking for places to camp. We definitely won't leave any rubbish behind ❤
Campendium was bought out by Thor Industries and dismissed a good chunk of their experienced staff. I wrote a post on Facebook about this and our position on contributing to Campendium going forward. Check out our Facebook post dated July 28, 2023.
Thanks for the reply. I didn't know that about Campendium and that's really too bad. Unfortunately, I don't have Facebook but I'm subscribed to you here. Happy Travels!@@LivingOurDreamNow
Little off topic, okay more than a little. My wife and I spent the summer in a local campground. And I'll be finished with work in a few weeks and we are going to Florida for 6 months. Will I be able to get firewood?
I tried to find the additional info on upload and download speeds on your FB page, but I didn't see it. Can you share what it was for At&T or tell me where you posted the info please! Thanks!
Thanks for responding. The link didn't work. I will just check it out when I get there. Thanks for sharing this video. I'm looking forward to checking out this site.
So kids aren't allowed to go camping? Or are kids only meant to be seen and never heard? Sounds to me like you just need to stay home and never reproduce, and probably apologize to anyone who lets you sweat on top of them. Other people have the right to exist and take up space and you do NOT have the right to say otherwise
Can't believe people left their trash like that! Thanks to sharing and how nice & it's free!! 😊

I’ll have to check it out.
Thanks for the video. I have the southern states on my bucket list.
Thanks for the video and review. Do you also post your findings on Campendium?

Can you just pull up and camp if there’s an open spot or do you need reservations?
No reservations needed here.
Are these sites first come, first serve?
All the campsites here are first come, first-served. Lou

Hi, do you know of any free camping like this in North Carolina?
Just go to the playlist tab on our TH-cam channel landing page. Our videos are organized by playlist and state. Lou
No water is a deal breaker for me.
people are jerks
whether it is unleashed dogs or kids, loud music or generators, trashing the campsite
