Really enjoy these southwestern plant videos! Lots of interesting facts concerning the Saguaro and the specialized interdependence among plants and animals.

Such an amazing plant. It is sad to see a lot of these just melting in the heat this year.

So awesome to see this video, as we just road tripped across the country and saw these giants on our way through the desert. I had no idea that they matured to such ages. So cool.

What an amazing plant the saguaro is. Sadly, I read in the news that it is so hot in Arizona that these cacti are dying. What a sad time it is when this happens.

Phoenix metro has them, and I enjoy their majesty. Sadly, they are often used for target shooting. It’s too bad they flower up so high and need a drone shot to enjoy them. Nevertheless they are iconic. Thank you Summer Rayne for another great video.

    Super-nice!
Does anyone know which month she was out there? I definitely do not want to be out there during the summer months.

I actually saw a huge arm fall off about 10 days ago. The first time I’ve ever seen it happen in 50+ years. Less than 2 days later, the entire plant toppled.

In the big scheme of things, Saguaro are weeds ;-)
