Love your summer read and plans! My daughter taught herself US History by reading the American Girl books. She learned so much that she was fact checking her older siblings...haha.
We absolutely loved The Penderwicks!! We’ve read all of them. I wish there was more. We’re enjoying a couple of weeks of nothing-ness too, and we’re schooling year-round as well. It allows for so much more freedom with everything. We’re going through Multiplication Facts That Stick because my daughter needs it and then we’re going right into MWC 4!! I’m really, really looking forward to using your history guides!!
I love all of this so much! And I love hearing your year-round plans too. A break has been really nice for us. I do miss routine so I know we will get back to a few things soon but for now I’m enjoying the rest!! I’m so happy to hear you’re trying the history units! We have loved so much the simple and fun approach to learning history! I hope your family does as well ❤️❤️
