The one thing I don't understand is why people don't have big dog breeds more often instead of small dog breeds. I understand small dog breeds are easier to take care of, but still people should get big dog breeds more often. Cach 2.0 is definitely a great, great dane a truly wonderful, special dog.
I absolutely love big dogs. They tend to have amazing personalities. I love Great Danes, Bernese Mountain Dogs, neighbors of mine had large Dalmations... amazing dogs. I'm not sure why you don't see many large dogs, but I've got some theories. Some of those larger breeds have relatively short lifespans, and people want a dog to stick around longer - a thing Steve often points out is how healthy Cash is. One other factor might be that a smaller dog is simply easier to control, even if they don't do much in the way of training. Cash is probably stronger than most people. Luckily he's also quite well trained. But if you get a big dog that's NOT properly trained, they can be a handful. If a Chihuahua is in the way or doesn't want to move, you just pick them up. If a dog like Cash doesn't want to move, well.... you're not moving him.
People would love to have the option, but the thing is that you need space and money to maintaining big dogs. Background checking is also another thing if they approve you to own big dog actually. Here it is illegal to own big dog if you live in somewhat smaller housing therefore only the rich people will own them, but they rarely bring them out to public because the owner can barely move due to the size and attention
Instead of music you should just play a loop of Cash facts on your speaker. "Cash is a six year-old Great Dane who weighs 165 lbs and eats two fifty pounds bags of dog food a month."
