@@Travisjoe31 I went there too and even if there were signs and explanations saying why it’s completely safe, me and my cousin just could not let go of the railings while walking on the skywalk! Like we wanted to be brave and walk in the middle but seeing how deep the canyon was, we became too overwhelmed.🤣
It's not that safe to swim on spots like that. I've been brought up on an island, and what I've been taught was the ocean currents clash between spots like that. Especially between two reefs, it'll feel like your being pulled back into the ocean even if your doing the best to swim back ashore. Hello from Maldives 👋
I am from Mauritius and it is just an optional illusion created by underwater current and the sand 😊. Mauritian been swimming and doing water activities all their life ..safely 😊
Actually there is very cold dense water falling down into the depths. It’s pulling the sand and silt down with it. In fact, there is so much water flowing over this underwater waterfall that it’s the biggest waterfall in the world, and the tallest. It’s called a cataract.
@@jacobtomra5062he is not talk about surface, he is talking about ocean floor depth. Were you can have different water temperatures, and water in different temperatures have different density so why can be separated like water and air and one flow inside the other.
Hi....been around this place many time the inland n beaches are just so beautifull it's just incredible.....n the best thing about it s not over populated.
Holy shit, that looks unreal! :o But (idk maybe im stupid rn, its late and im high xd) if its sand sinking to the ground wouldn’t there just be a point where all the sand is gone and with it the illusion of a waterfall?
Swimming over that would be like walking on glass bridges between tall mountains….my heart could never
Don’t be a like that, just swim in the ocean and get used to it, takes all safety precautions though :) we want to be less fearful but not stupid.
@@LoLFilmStudios Ooo when you put it that way…it does peak my interest :) thank you, you deserve a great weekend for changing my mindset
It's like a gag reflex knowing you won't be harmed doesn't matter. I nearly passed out over the sky bridge in the grand canyon.

There’s no suction. No different between swimming over that and 10 feet.

The water is not going down though, so ots pretty safe, i dunno about the danish one though

Thanks for letting us know, hope one day we can visit this beautiful place with beautiful people!
How can you not get sucked in with the sand and sediment?
@@1catmac it is quite far from the beach. Plus it's more like an optical illusion than a real waterfall
Good for you but no thanks.
wait....if sand and silt is falling down...does it mean the coast is slowly disintegrating and its sinking in?
yes
yep
Yeah, basically
I also thought the same. If this is real, this explanation is wrong
go back to school mate!!! Are you from USA? I would bet yes
To me It actually looks scary to swim over
Looks. Looks terrifying he says
ITS HORRIFYING

This sounds like a much better explanation. Thank you mate!
It’s called Le Morne
Silly. Theres not cold water on the surface "falling" down. Where would this mysterious cold water come from?
@@jacobtomra5062he is not talk about surface, he is talking about ocean floor depth. Were you can have different water temperatures, and water in different temperatures have different density so why can be separated like water and air and one flow inside the other.

Actually, there is an under water waterfall because of the difference in cold and hot water it causes the cold water do drop down.

How is there still sand within a mile of that place? That looks like a crazy flow of sand.
Because this is poor video editing and forgery
There’s sand everywhere it’s a lagoon
Nothing is falling it’s just the current that shapes stripes of sand that way and create an illusion from a certain angle in the air of a waterfall
@@AD-jq7ow maybe. But this video is highly edited. You can see the current ,eating the rock into the depths. See before you speak
Because only the sand on the edge is falling, and very slowly
