Hard to figure out sonic warfare works when you’re up against creatures that can hear anything and everything. Think about it, every sonic weapons test that DIDNT work would just attract 100 those things to their exact location
Seriously. I didn't bother to watch the second one after seeing how stupid the idea was. Guns seem to work pretty well also, and there are over 1 billion of those in the world.

So how would they use figure out that a fighter jet breaking the speed barrier would be a weakness? When have you have seen or a reason a fighter jet go that fast near ground level or in low atmosphere to break the sound barrier and the kind of sound frequency would have to be in range snd give off a continues sound frequecy like she's using to effect them to reveal its vulnerability.

This turned out to be a really good movie. "A Quiet Place" i loved part 2, now I'm looking forward to A Quite Peace, Day One which tells how this started so i can't wait for that to come out

It was more of another episode, just like you said, which doesn't mean is inherently bad. it works as a movie and introduction to the franchise, which by the looks of it was the intention of the movie.
@@sweepjk5258no it did what all these prequels to post apocalyptic films/shows do, failed to deliver the the scenes that led to the post apocalyptic conditions. Once again, this film copped out, and instead of showing a broader view of the invasion and the ensuing battle, it just ignored it and focussed on 2 survivors. Boring. Who cares, we have seen this story so many times. We want to see the story of how civilisation fell, not a rehash of what we already know.
@@tysontwenty That wasn't the point of the movie though. A quiet place does not even have a very extensive lore because that's not even the message of the firsts two movies.
All the movies and spin offs focus on the survivors and how they cope and adapt to the situation. It was never about showing lore.
The day one precuel was more of a heartfelt storyline within the universe of the movies. If you're expecting heavy lore drops of this franchise you've to keep waiting because this franchise kinda sucks at it.
Alot of ppl are giving this movie hate but tbh i watched part one and part two today and i LIVED it

I don’t understand the problems people have with the Death Angels’ weakness tbh.
Their outer armour is near-impenetrable because their insides are so incredibly weak, the instances of them getting hurt are where you hit them where they don’t have armour.
It took so long to figure this out because we’re watching 1, maybe 2 if you count the prequel, groups’ POV of life in one country in this world, there’s basically no way for anyone to communicate internationally after the first month, this is multiple years in.
The government didn’t figure it out immediately because this is not the first thing ANYONE would think of, they’d try increasingly powerful weapons and get slaughtered anytime they got remotely close. Anything strong enough to kill a Death Angel would be so destructive you can’t just use it haphazardly, so no using it in cities in the early days, and anything below a nuclear bomb (like missiles and heavy snipers, assuming they work) would have to be a direct hit to damage the insides despite the armour.
Obviously the first person to figure it out would be a hearing-impaired individual or member of a small group, small groups are infinitely more likely to survive than bigger ones and, as shown in part one, someone with a hearing aid will automatically have the right kind of device on hand for them to stumble upon the solution.
Maybe some government remnant figured it out too, maybe even in the same country as the POV family, but whatever resources they have left that aren’t being used just to survive aren’t gonna be enough to wipe out the now tens of thousands of fast-moving and mostly (in a good scenario) impenetrable Death Angels that’ve spread out across the world in search of food.
TL;DR small groups survive easier, this solution is not that easy to figure out and information can’t spread quickly

I think it would be hilarious if the monsters look like Teddy Bears we never make the aliens look cute and adorable as they terrorize the planet😂😂

They don't actually eat the humans they kill, in the newest movie is shows that they brought an alien fungus with them, they farm that similar to leaf cutter ants, but instead of leaves, they use dead humans, then they eat the fungus.

Until you wonder how it took so long for anyone to figure out how easy it is to kill the aliens, play loud noise and kill it.
Havent seen it as ling as its not like SIGNS where aliens land at rural farms and try to kill Mel Gibson and his family. THEN jaocin Pheonix spills water on it and kills it.. Not mention stupid Aliens attack a planet that has LOTS OF WATER WHICH KILLS THEM.

Nope , not in the script and the budget was already skyrocketing. So just the one CGI alien for this scene.
It was by chance that the deaf daughter realised that the monsters can't stand loud noises so this family was able to kill some of the creatures. Considering that the monsters came to earth very suddenly i think it would take a longer time for the military to discover this method cause first they'd be busy trying to attack the monsters, then most of them would obviously die and the ones who were left alive would need even more time to figure out this solution. Also, maybe they have already figured it out somewhere that this is how the monsters can be killed but they are in a different area or even country so we don't see them in the movie, but that doesn't mean they don't exist

Watching both of these movies, all three of their children would have died already. The young boy because like he did, the girl given she was deaf and not able to know if she was actually making noise while walking and the boy who was by far the worst of the kids, just a total idiot.

@@plaplaks you’ve never seen swat tactics who use loud amplified sounds to make people leave their homes. Plus it’s a hypothetical. Lots of places uses sound as torment and sometimes treatment. So a reverberated ear noise (basically feedback like a microphone) could’ve never happened with billions on the planet? The math in odds of that happening seem like it would be there. Bc a hearing aid or whatever Fritz out and then boom you have a secret weapon against the aliens? Just seemed it would happen way sooner than later.
@@plaplaks I thought I replied to this. But I was saying before. They have devices that emit sounds and radio play as a way of torture unfortunately. They could’ve tried anything to see if the aliens are immune not to certain sounds. Feedback from microphone seems to work.

havent seen the movie but from whats in this clip they can hear extremely well and are obv fast so it wouldnt be very easy to hit them i believe they used the amp to broadcast a high frequency tone similar to like a dog whistle which was too much for it to handle giving them the upper hand im gonna go out on a limb and say not many people thought of using an amp in this context but again all theory because i havent watched it
Skin is indestructible, super strong and fast. You have to get them to scream to expose the soft spot.

My issue with a quiet place is that when John krasinski started that movie there were live demonstrations of Sonic weapons at the military was doing.
If any single family was enough to gather the intelligence to understand that whisper silence was enough to hide from these things which it isn't according to the science of the show but we'll just forget that for writing purposes then the military for sure knew what the actual ability of these things to track you down was and they could have easily killed these things

everyone saying "oooh why didn't anyone use noise" is comically missing the point. the entire deal with the aliens is that they emit electromagnetic signals to hear. y'know. like a cochlear implant. it's not a "noise" that's freaking them out, it's the malfunctioning hearing aid

It's not quite the noise in and of itself that does it.
It's specifically the microphone feedback that the hearing aid gives off. Think of it like going blind if you see a very specific shade of purple.
So apparently these aliens skin can deflect all munitions except a shot gun when it opened it's ears.
