Yeah knights at the end game suck. You can dance the knight around capturing pieces while making it hard for the opponent to do anything you can’t chase them around. It’s the one time the knight can be even better then a queen because the knight has so much space to move and attack
Once you see Nd7 you can sense it's almost over, since losing the f6 square is fatal, but I only considered that move after you didn't go for a draw. Re6 without Rc8 looked good enough too, but that's chess
