I think they should use Powdered Snow as a basis for adding Quicksand to the game. This should exist now.

When I first saw the falling block trick (Void House) I made a very primitive version of this, I just put cobwebs in the same block as a falling block. Interesting to see the way you made it deadly though.

There is already quicksand with snow, This is next level of traps, just imagine walking on the desert and you fall on quicksand because someone put a trap there
Now I'm envisioning some kind of naturally generated desert structure with a trap in it that uses quicksand, sorta like an upgraded desert temple.

There's a way to make it even better. Retexture powdered snow, and take away the freezing particles.
Honestly and truly I kinds thought you were annoying the first time I was exposed to your shenanigans, but that was by no fault of yours. The video was playing automatically because TH-cam was being TH-cam, and I was more annoyed at that than anything else. Couple weeks passed and I decided to give you a fair look.

It would be way easier for the prank to you could just say it was a generation glitch
@@SirPogsalotCreates You could always select single biome and do a desert world if you were making an adventure map or something and didn't want it looking out of place.
This quicksand is very cool and it is a great video overall!
One thing though, instead of making an area affect cloud of slow falling at the top, would it be better to make one of levitation 250-254? These levels make a more customizable type of slow falling and it can make you fall slower than what slow falling offers.
You could also put a powdered snow at the bottom and retexture the hearts and the overlay to make a more quick-sand-themed way of dying.
Fun quicksand fact: It's rarely ever deep enough to die in, I don't know the details, but dieing in it is unlikely.
Yea that’s true I think in scorpion the show it was an episode with quicksand where the “Tobi” guy said you won’t die there you just gotta move or so I don’t really remember it.

Hey, love your videos, I'm yet to watch this one but i do have an idea on how you could make quicksand. as the sand you have a falling block entity with a sand texture and I also found out that high levels of levitation makes you hover meaning you cant jump. to trigger it have a command block running a command block on repeat that gives you the levitation effect for 1 second when 0 blocks away from the falling block entity (meaning your in it). Keep up the great work and I'm going to enjoy this amazing video.

Pretty much, but you can easily move around + break powdered snow, also the biomes they’re in are polar opposites

Me: I really don't understand redstone and command blocks but using cobwebs under sand = quicksand
Any levitation value above 127 will pull you down. If you set it high enough it will pull you down slower than normal, with the highest being 255 that just doesn't move you up or down.
The highest is 256
