Cool, just got my Dolphin kit in white/black. I can't wait to get it built an experience it. Too many of you guys have been saying how great it is it's my turn.
Yes an that was with an empty lipo, near end of the flight, when it's at full 4.2V/cell the noise is even better the whole frame is vibrating I'll put that in a next video :)
Dang, that thing can cut some wind! Totally awesome! I got a Dolphin not too long ago that I've already blown the nose off twice, but hot glue is a first plane's best buddy. Update: Three times...
Another magnificent video and those beautiful land and sky , I hope you never stop making these vids. here in the US the regulations are getting so strict , I hope there they do not get this bad . Thank You for sharing those flights with us.
@@nathd6784 It will be the same here ( I Hope ) as i assume the majority will just do as they want and Local law will do little to nothing unless an incident should occur...
Im launching in angle mode, I pull the elevator a bit by pressing the bottom of the gimbal of the stick with my left thumb (mode 1). It could also be done with a simple mixer-offset on a switch, some friends are doing that
De superbes images merci beaucoup ! Un régal ! Quelle est la portée réellement utilisable au quotidien avec ce set-up ? (Hors fiche technique sauf si celle-ci est exacte)
Great video! Thanks for posting. How are you getting the flight telemetry display in a border at top and bottom? Is this what you see in your goggle's OSD?
I’ve been stuck on my dolphin build for over a month on the standard motor / prop. I’m new to this installation method with a nut. The hardware it came with, does not screw in enough to secure the prop, I can still spin the prop without the motor turning. This must be the most obscure subject on rc planes…I can’t find anything. To be honest I’m starting to doubt this build will ever get in the air. Can you share what you did to secure your prop? I’ve asked others and they said that no spacer was used. Im completely lost on this and there isn’t one video on how to install a prop with a nut. I never thought this was what would ground this plane :( Thank you for posting the video.
@@Olivier-C You are my hero! Merci! It’s hard to torque down on this when you are unsure. Your post gave me the confidence to do that. I’m not sure I used the best method to keep the motor still while put some weight into it. I scratched up the motor head, but it is secure. Can’t wait to fly this now :)
2:58 Whoa. Just incredible!

That plane hauls ass at full throttle!! Love how the whole things starts resonating!!

I was just looking at my new dolphin and trying to figure which motor I want to put on it haha I might do a 2806 1500 kv and run 6s again

Well, restrictions sucks in france too. But the fact is: everybody don’t care, even the police

Toujours la tête dans les nuages 😊 C'est une vraie fusée avec ce 5S 👍

I enjoy watching your Dolphin flights!! Quick question- do you mostly do manual launch (raise throttle and then throw plane) or use auto launch?

@Olivier-C Thanks! I fly mode 2 and think the "mixer offset" option is best (easier?). I'll try 10% on a switch if I can figure out how to do it.

En conditions normales, et sans vouloir battre des records, et avec des marges de sécurité : 10kms pour video et RC
@@Olivier-C wow vraiment bien ! Merci.
That view though! May I ask what the max altitude was here?
At the 1:35 mark in the top left corner I saw over 200 meters

hi! its post-processed at editing, parsing the log file with the tool Dashware : th-cam.com/video/LEjuBSccvGQ/w-d-xo.html
chouette balade merci
Wow it really moves at full throttle.
Why is the 7 x 4 prop safer to throw than the 6 inch prop ?

Thank you for posting the video.
You have to tigthen really hard, there's a nylon ring inside the nut, you have to screw hard enough so the 5mm axle goes in
